Claudio “The Chad” Diaz
[Image: 4ace46366c90e0a3d7f443a6896ce0bd586600aa.png]

Born in Cuba, Claudio was well loved by all for his handsome appearance. He quickly rose to fame as a child model. As his popularity grew he was offered a position as a world class model by the a fashion company called Moirai. During his teens he was trained in fashion, modeling, and most importantly, assassination. Many young women, and men, were eager to lay with him. He banged them all. It was a great conquest of hedonism and stealthy murder. His flamboyant and flashy demeanor played into his careers well.

When he reached his early 20s he started designing his own fashion line. His popularity boomed even further. He continued to gain more contracts for his assassination career and his modelling career.

Then the downfall happened. He participated in a cooking segment on a morning variety show. The pot exploded, spraying his face with hot cooking oil. Was this a planned attack by somebody that knew his true identity, or just a freak accident? Whatever the reason, he had lost his ability to recognize faces.

No longer able to perform his assassination duties properly, he decided to settle down in Houston, Texas. With an excess of funds he purchased a large home and went all in on his fashion career. However, that alone was not enough to satisfy him. He began to spend more money on his hedonistic lifestyle. Women, men, booze, and dakimakuras, all he could want at his fingertips.

Currently he is in his early 30s. He is more depressed than he used to be, but his fabulous personality shines through when he entertains his guests. Sometimes the guests don't return. Rumors are they're murdered during sex. His fascination with anime has grown. He is not upfront with it, but his servants have seen him engaging in intercourse with his body pillows on occasion. Perhaps due to his prosopagnosia he no longer knows or cares about the difference between a human and a pillow?

Richard "Dick" Wicharders
[Image: LTRhryo.png]

Dick is a man in his mid 40s. In his prime, he was a cast member on a popular live improvisation comedy show, “Your Next Line Is...”. After a few too many offensive remarks he was kicked off the program within just a month of premiere. The times were changing and Americans just wouldn't accept that kind of political incorrectness anymore.

Determined not to have to leave the Bay Area, he found a job at a local comedy club. The pay wasn't as good and the audience was even worse. The liberal crowd didn't take kindly to his racist and sexist jokes. What's the deal with these hypocrites? Why can't they take a joke? More than once he was forced offstage violently. During one engagement his left eye became permanently injured after being hit by a beer bottle that shattered on impact.

Down on his luck he found no choice but to sell his damaged eye to a black market dealer. It turns out that even barely functional those things can fetch a decent price with the right buyer. However, after the removal of his eye he experiences series issues with depth perception. The combination of that and the acceptance that he has lost his mojo with the change of times has driven him into a bit of depression. He now mostly hangs out at home, always thinking of jokes in the back of his mind that not even he finds himself able to laugh at these days.

His favorite show is Friendly Guy, a show featuring a fat American family man who gets into all sorts of goofy situations that reference pop culture. It helps to keep him sane.

Alexei "Alex" Vasilevsky
[Image: 8PIookr.png]

Alexei is a man in his late 20s. He is a second generation Russian immigrant. His parents moved to the country leaving behind everything and starting with nothing, chasing the American dream. His parents were very strict and overbearing. They kept him home schooled. Between being an only child and being barred from meeting other children he lived a lonely childhood. His only companion was an old home PC that his parents had picked up for cheap during a garage sale. Without Internet connection or any new games he settled for replaying the same few RTS games that had come preinstalled on the computer.

His parent's business struggled to produce much income during the majority of his childhood. As a result he often went to bed hungry. Many times he would find himself unconsciously gnawing on random items such as paper or pieces of wood just to satisfy the urge to eat. It was not until he reached his late teens that his parent's business began to produce a reasonable income.

With his parent's newfound wealth, he was able to enroll in a prestigious university. He rented out a nearby apartment and started his new life. It wasn't long before he found himself unable to keep up with the amount of work that was required of the strict program. The freedom and lack of supervision gave rise to a massive gaming addiction. He spends most of his time in free to play MOBAs. When a game is going poorly he is quick to get upset. He flunked out of university after just a year. His parents are unaware.

Almost ten years later, he is still keeping up the ruse. His parents send him money each month as allowance. He lives in a small desolate apartment with just the necessities: a gaming PC, a desk, and a chair. Due to his thrifty upbringing he manages to get by. He keeps food purchases to a minimum, often just buying vodka and cheap snacks which he forgets to consume thanks to his intense gaming sessions. He still has his old habit of gnawing on random objects. Other than to buy food, he almost never leaves his apartment.

When not playing MOBAs, he unwinds by doing research on random things. He has a vast wealth of knowledge and trivia gained from reading various Wikipedia articles. He particularly likes comic book superheroes. Despite never owning or reading any of the original works, he is very familiar with the franchises from reading fan wikis.

Peri
[Image: qK8bFBM.png]

Born as a bird, Peri has a strange past. She was originally the companion of a famous falconer. He was hired to perform a show on a South African cruise line. The falconer and his bird performed many successful shows together until one voyage when they were raided by a crew of pirates. Among the pirates was a woman who knew some sort of witchcraft. With her help the ship was quickly overrun and majority of the passengers were killed off. The falconer and his companion hid waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike. They failed. The falconer had his arm cleanly sliced off. And then his head. The bird lunged at the witch, striking her eyes. The witch countered with a powerful curse. "As long as you or I live you will remain as a human!" the witch shouted as she retreated along with the pirates.

Over the next several years she trained as a sailor, plotting her revenge on the witch. Before long she was competent enough to captain a ship of her own. She sails the high seas plundering food in search of the witch. She would have an easier time just buying food from towns, but her bird brain does not understand currency or bartering. Sometimes her social ineptitude lands her in trouble, however her instincts and wits are sharp she often finds a way out. She is cold and stoic when around people she does not know well. When around those she is comfortable with, her snarky and chipper personality is what shines through.

She is an expert with the cutlass. Her speed is almost unmatched, but she has not gotten out of every fight uninjured. She wears a patch over her left eye and there are a few scars on her arms. Her sight in her good eye retains that of normal falcon. Generally she only attacks other pirates and robs them of their food and treasure. If low on resources, she will attack innocent ships for food. She is fond of shiny things.

Her crew is a small group of trustworthy sailors. She keeps her secret about being a bird well guarded, none of them know. However, they do know that she is on the hunt of the witch. She is constantly on the hunt for more info at every tavern and port they visit. Often she rescues and domesticates birds that she comes across on her journey. The amount of humans on her ship might just be less than the number of birds. She can usually be spotted with one or two perched on her shoulders.

Lance Creed alias Blitzman
[Image: FP2qt8k.png]

Born to a well-off family, Lance had it all. A strong charismatic personality, healthy relationships, an award winning smile, and a chiseled athletic body. In high school he was the star of the football team. Everybody loved him. Girls fawned over him. He was accepted to a prestigious college on a football scholarship. Even there he rose in popularity further as the team's star linebacker. But he wanted more. He wanted magic.

He was always curious about the dark arts. He knew that his father had dabbled in them in the past, but his old man was tight lipped and impossible to get any secrets out of. Desperate for knowledge, he found himself deep in his university's library. There was a strange door that he had never noticed before. He opened it and descended the stairs to find a room with a dusty old shelf filled with books. He quickly learned that the books were grimoires detailing different "schools" of magic. In the book of transmutation spells he found something surprising, the last person to check it out had been his father.

He took the book and began studying, unlocking the powers within himself. He gained access to arcane spells that let him strengthen and morph his own body. With the help of the spells he became even better at football, until something weird happened. While modifying his legs to increase his running speed something went wrong and from then on he was never quite able to play the same again. Something was off with himself that he just couldn't fix.

With his dreams of professional football crushed, he turned his sights elsewhere. He easily found work at a talent agency as an actor. After performing in a few small roles he had his next big break and nabbed a character perfect for himself. He became the star of a children's super hero show called C.H.A.D. He was the leader of a team of sentai suit heroes that fought against the evil Warlock, a villain that forced children to eat green capsicum. His character's powers matched his own, possessing both super strength and super speed. Foolishly he continued to use his magic abilities during the show itself, performing all of his own stunts. The errors with his body piled up, and he found himself leaving his suit on all of the time to hide the discoloration beginning to take place across his skin.

Now that he always wore the suit, he began to act the part of the character outside of the show as well. His sunny personality was a hit with children. Often he would find himself recognized by a child while he was just out and about. He always responded with a big smile, a press of the button on his Henshin Belt, and a pose. Some days he spends more time in the transformed neon suit than not. He happens to be a hit with the mothers, too! If you get to know him though you would learn that he is actually quite vain.

Winona Nightshade
[Image: Fk8fiev.png]

Thanks to her dark and dismal personality, Winona was never very popular among her peers. During high school she found herself often bullied. Unable to take it anymore, she began to investigate ways to get back at them. She found a strange website detailing demon summon rituals. She was just desperate enough that she thought it might work. A little bit of human hair, a little bit of albino goat's blood that had its throat slit at midnight on the night of a full moon with a silver dagger, some black candles, and a few other obscure items were needed for the ritual. She gathered them up and got summoning. It worked.

The demon appeared before her and asked politely, "What do you need of me?" She explained that she wanted to be popular. She wanted to be rich. The demon looked up at her, then down, gave a big inhale, and decided to strike a deal. He pulled out a smartphone and handed it over to her. He explained that there were two apps installed that she needed to use. The first was a catalog of a vast array of occult items. She could at any time tap an item she wanted and it would be delivered to her within seconds. The second app was a simple camera. Confused, she asked what it was for. "I want pictures of your soles," the demon replied. She thought for a few minutes and accepted.

Her first order was a bottomless coffer. The funds helped to quickly become more hip and popular at her school. She took a snapshot of herself, in an attempt to capture a shot of her soul for the demon. Unfortunately for her, this wasn't what he wanted. He sent her a message back, explaining through text once again that he wanted pictures of her soles. Now she understood what this demon wanted and why he was banished to hell in the first place. Unwilling to feed into the demon's foot fetish herself, she began to send him pictures of other people's feet or blurry images that simply looked like feet. It worked for a while but the demon eventually started to catch on and she had to up her game constantly.

As if that wasn't enough, she ended up attracting the attention of some strange government organization. One evening her mother knocked on her bedroom door and informed her to come out to the main hall, as she had a visitor. Even with her new popularity she didn't have any friends who would show up at her home. Who could it be? Was it the demon? It was a man who introduced himself as a member of the Bureau of Paranormal Investigation. Her mother excused herself and the main continued with accusations that she possessed occult artifacts. She denied them and fled back to her room where she grabbed the phone and sneaked out of her bedroom window.

Now she lives on a constant run from both the men of the Bureau and the demon's growing suspicions. With the help of the phone's ability to summon magical items she gets by and has been becoming increasingly proficient with them, enough to be dangerous. She has had a few run ins with the Bureau where she had to attack with lethal force in self defense. She has also gotten involved with a smuggling ring that she sells artifacts to sometimes. They give her a large sum of money and then transfer the goods to private collectors and mysterious researchers. Some of their members help her with evading the Bureau.

She has gotten tired of constantly being on the run though, and just wants it all to stop. She no longer uses the phone to order new occult items in order to stop her debt to the demon from increasing. She currently has a small arsenal of items saved up from both her phone and her deals with the artifact smugglers.

Matilda Rachels
[Image: RPhbX0u.png]

Originally a resident of rural Maine, this character had a humble beginning. She entered the workforce as a household cleaning maid for upper-middle class families and as a waitress at a local lobster restaurant. The latter of the two was exceptionally busy during the summer tourist season.

She is very hardworking and can be kind too if you earn her respect. However, her no nonsense personality often gets in the way. She is very quick to butt heads with customers and employees. It wasn't long before her short temper lead her to lose her waitress job, leaving her with only maid work. Customers frequently described her as a bitch. Thankfully her home cleaning job required little contact with clients. She worked while they were out of the house and they always returned to an impressively tidy living space.

As her talents as a maid grew, so did the prominence of her clients. In just a few short years she was cleaning the homes of wealthy public figures. One of such figures was the owner of a world renowned lobster fishing company. He hired her to provide cooking, cleaning, and daycare service for his children. The kids were not fond of her bitchy attitude and complained to their father.

After three strikes she found herself still employed, but relocated to the owner's largest lobster fishing vessel to teach her some discipline. There she picked up the lobster style of martial arts. Self taught and self designed, this style involves dual-wielding tongs like pincers. She fights at a distance using her quick footwork to harass her opponents. With the tongs she has a vise-like grip, and she can easily break the bones of anyone unfortunate enough to get caught.

Once she had returned from the sea she found even more success in her work. The extreme training improved her temper, meaning she could act more professionally before snapping. Her combat expertise qualified her for work as a bodyguard as well. Her signature dish is the lobster thermidor. She now is employed to various billionaires and public figures. Even with her improved demeanor though she struggles to stay with the same family for more than a year.

??? "LovelyLychee" ???

This character always enjoyed video games and nerd culture while growing up. In high school she joined the gaming club where she found herself to be the only girl. She was treated very well among her peers there. Some of her fellow members encouraged her to get into cosplay. She started up a channel online to post her cosplay photos and went viral overnight as LovelyLychee.

She enjoyed great success streaming game play of the popular free to play MOBA, Mighty League, and cosplaying as the female characters from it. She was making thousands of dollars several days a week. One of the most frequent donators was another popular streamer. He asked her if she would be interested in talking privately and she accepted, thinking this was a great chance to butter up a big audience member for some more cash. Through some strange twist of fate they ended up dating. She asked him to keep things a secret because a public relationship would end her career and he agreed.

Just a few months later though she met somebody who she was actually interested in. He shared the same hobby as all of her other patrons but was actually physically attractive and good at Mighty League. They started talking more and eventually dating. Her current boyfriend found out and challenged him to a public match, which ended just as anyone expected.

Now she still continues to stream and cosplay, continuing to collect the big bucks from her fans. She makes appearances at conventions often but hates doing so because she finds so many of her fans repulsive. The money is more than worth it though. Recently she came up with an idea to bottle and sell her used, unwashed clothes. She was both disgusted and impressed with how fast the pre-orders came in.

Despite the condescending attitude she has for her fans, she is still an entertainer. During her streams and meets she has a bubbly and excited attitude. She is however, not a good actress, and the facade is easy to see through. Outside of her streaming career she has no real friends thanks to her unlikable, self-serving personality.

Ursula Rosenkranz
[Image: VHqmgmI.png]

Ursula started out their career as a small time artist. Her dream was to be famous, but whatever she did, her original works never sold well. She painted all sorts of different subjects and styles but nobody was ever that interested in what she could do. Frustration built up and she began to consider other fields of work. It didn't help that her meek and quiet personality meant she was a poor saleswoman.

She did however have talent for creating copies of other artists' works. One day she came across a rather shady art trader who knew of this talent and he offered her a deal. After much consideration, she took him up on the offer and began to create convincing fakes of famous paintings. She passed them along to the art trader who was able to turn them around for a quick profit off of naive art collectors. The money from these forgeries was enough to keep her afloat.

While out on a jog one evening to relieve herself of art block inspiration struck, quite literally. Clouds had begun to gather when she left but she didn't expect the storm to roll in so quickly. A bolt of lightning struck just a few feet away, knocking her to her feet. Had it hit her, she could have become paralyzed. Actually, what if she was to say that it had hit her?

She shared her plan with her manager the following day. From this point onward, her hands were "paralyzed" but she would still overcome her disability and create beautiful original art. He loved the idea and helped her with the initial marketing. She had a pair of gloves made with thick wire down the fingers to help her with the act. She would continue to paint as she normally had, but pretend that all of her works were done by holding the brush in her mouth.

The con was a huge success and she became a sensation almost overnight. She trained herself to be able to paint using her mouth well enough that she could fake the start of a painting. News stations picked up on her story and reported on the artist that just wouldn't give up.

She now is in her early 40s and still keeps up the ruse. She has little contact with the shady art dealer these days but does still get the occasional request for a Mona Lisa or two from him. She has a respectable art manager who is not in on the secret. When painting she makes sure to do it in a secluded area free from watching eyes.

Benjamin "Ben" Ricci
[Image: G2wZjNe.png]

Born into great wealth, Benjamin was burdened with great expectations. His parents, both extremely successful CEOs, ensured that he was given the absolute best of everything. Superb living space, superb food, and most importantly, a superb education. During his adolescent days he found himself set on the path of becoming a surgeon. He certainly had the grades for it.

After graduating high school he attended a prestigious college. It was his first time away from home on his own. Finally free from his overbearing parents, he let himself run a bit wild. After one too many acts of vandalism he ended up in some real trouble. He begged the college staff not to tell his parents, he would take responsibility for his own actions. They decided to discipline him by assigning him to spend his evenings helping out in the campus cafeteria.

He started his days in the cafeteria assembling salads, a fairly easy task. He was surprised to find it actually fun. After enough time being a salad boy he was promoted to the bakery section. He fell in love with the work. He began to drift away from his studies as a doctor and focus more on his studies in the kitchen. His parents, not being knowledgeable in any fields outside of finance and management, didn't realize he had changed career paths when he told them he decided to study gastronomy. They just assumed it was the medical term for a doctor who focused on the digestive track.

Upon leaving school he got a small loan from his parents to support opening his new business. He had mild success in his opening weeks. It wasn't until then that his parents finally both had free time to check in on their son's work. They showed up together and were horrified to find not the medical practice they expected, but a simple bakery. This wasn't the future they had invested in for their son! They promptly disowned him and forced him into debt to pay of the loan.

The following years were humbling for Benjamin. He learned that the life of a patissier was tough. Without his parent's money he had to cut back on his extravagant lifestyle and focus solely on his work. As he did, he found himself enjoying it more and more. His passion turned into weird yet delicious innovations.

Now a calm and modest man, he continues working at his bakery. He was offered a full time job at a famous bakery but turned down the offer, believing himself to not be good enough for the role. His parents then began to put more and more pressure on him to repay the loan. With the loan sharks breathing down his throat he is scrambling to find money fast.

Olivia Arnold
[Image: IAph6cl.png]

Always quirky and inquisitive, this character grew up as a bit of a weird outcast. Rather than the standard things a girl was expected to be interested in she was fascinated with ghosts, monsters, magic and murder mysteries. She searched her entire early life for proof that these things existed in the mundane world. During her freshman year of high school she managed to catch an interview on TV with a man named Trip. Trip claimed to be a survivor of something called the "Killing Game". He had footage evidence of a brutal murder game filled with fantastical creatures and magic. Also murder. The general public believed it to be fake but she knew it was true.

Upon graduating high school he knew what she must do. Her parents, very supportive of her endeavors, allowed her to use the small college fund they had put together to pay for a small single engine plane and camera equipment. She now travels around the country hunting for cryptids and murder mysteries. Her idol and one-sided rival, Trip, has since survive yet another Killing Game and now hosts a show called GhostQuest. She has traveled to many of the locations the show has covered to see if she could find anything interesting on her own but usually turns up nothing.

She hasn't made it big yet, but she is trying. With mainly just conspiracy theories to go off of, she hasn't had much success. However, thanks to her keen eye and attention to details she has in fact managed to pick up on and tape some real stories.

She submits pilot tapes for her own spooky series to television stations. They always get rejected due to being too gruesome or unbelievable. She has attempted to course correct by focusing on the stories of people that live near the monsters and ghosts rather than just the horrors themselves. Unfortunately she has found that these people generally don't believe in the stories and are terrible actors if they try to fake it. All of the rejected material is available for free uncensored on her blog.

Now she has started to accept that simply digging her nose into urban myths won't be enough. She needs to do the same thing that Trip did in order to find true success. She needs to join a Killing Game.

Hank "Sir Yurian" Blackborne
[Image: eK8Mvhe.png]

Yurian was born to a serf and grew up in poverty. He longed to be a powerful knight and provide a better future for his children than his father could provide for him and his several siblings. At an early age he started training. What he lacked in strength and dexterity he made up for with heart and chivalry. He became well respected and was recruited to be one of the King's personal army.

Still a young man at the time, he desired even more power. While washing his equipment in a small lake he encountered a fairy. Or was it a warlock? The trivial details matter not. The point is he was offered a deal. He accepted. The magician enchanted his armor with what he initially believed to be a blessing, but later discovered to be a curse. In exchange for an agreement to always be performing actions of good will the armor would protect his life. A minor detail was left to the fine print. He was unable to take the armor off.

Seven hundred years later he still roams the Earth performing chivalrous acts. The armor prevented any attempt on his life. His body stopped aging as well. His mental state doesn't quite match his physical appearance. More than anything he wants to rest, but the armor compels him to live on and forcibly moves his body to help others. Frankly he is quite sick of it and is willing to take almost any way out. His patience with the human race has expired.

Actually, that's just all fake. Hank is a thespian and medieval fantasy nerd. He is actually in his late-20s. He started out playing the cursed knight for a live action role play at a renaissance fair. He got a bit way too much into the character though and found himself living in the role day in and day out. Eventually he got to the point where he became so deluded that even he believes that he is an immortal knight from the Dark Ages. His friends and family have accepted it by this point and treat him as the character.
