Here are the words for our next character:

Warlock
Chad
Sentai Suit

Using these three words as a prompt, come up with a backstory fitting for a Killing Game character. What are they like? Where are they from? What kind of things do they do? What experiences have they had?

If you do not wish to contribute a full backstory you can just give pieces and we can collectively build up the character together.

Once, there was a Chad. This man had it all - strong personality, healthy relationships, a regular workout schedule. Yet he desired more, for this was not enough. He desired... magic.

And so, he delved deep into forbidden tomes. He searched through the great secrets. He finally found the rituals, and he performed them, to transform himself into a powerful Warlock.

Yet that power came with a price. His body was rendered strange, and his human form was destablized. To contain himself, his mind, and his vast powers, he used the only nearby container - a replica sentai suit. He kept his healthy relationships, as his first impulse was open and upfront communication. But now he must live forever in this suit, in order to remain intact and not become scattered to the four winds...

HEN-SHIN

This dude is the ultimate cool guy, a blond-haired sex machine complete with chiseled chin and rippling muscles, but his secret identity is part of a super-powered crime fighting syndicate known as the C.H.A.D., four superheroes who fight in tight neon sentai suits as part of a saturday morning TV show geared towards kids. The C.H.A.D. fights an evil Warlock and his cronies who use dark magic to force children across 90s Japan to eat green capsicum, and as their leader, this guy is determined to bring the Warlock down and teach kids proper life lessons within an hourly block of TV. His in-character powers revolve around shooting beams of light from his helmet, and being super strong (or fast?)

Though he's the star of one of the most popular saturday morning shows on television, his true personality isn't so kid-friendly. His co-stars describe him as chauvenistic and incredibly vain, almost the complete opposite of his caregiving, heroic TV character. Maybe his immaturity is why he's able to make himself so juvenile while acting?

Either way, though he's constantly hitting on women and getting into trouble in the limelight, he truly loves his role in the C.H.A.D, and has had a special watch developed which lets him suit up for public appearances. One push of a button suits him up in his neon sentai outfit. He never breaks character while suited up, just to keep the kids happy and smiling; constantly babbling about defeating the evil Warlock and demonstrating his superb strength.

A deeper delve into his psyche might reveal that he's a womanizer because he remains deeply broken by a childhood love who died in a tragic accident when he was younger, preventing him from becoming too attached to anyone. He might gravitate towards being a positive role model for kids to make up for the mistakes that lead to the accident. But, his chiseled exterior belies many secrets, and his bullheaded attitude means he's never been to a therapist in his life. Oh well!

The result is the Ultimate Henshin. Transforming from abnoxious prick to wholesome superhero at the push of a button.

Chadwick Cayman-Ryder was your typical jock: chiseled physique, a winning smile and boundless confidence. But sports were just a hobby to him: he wanted to become something greater, someone who made a difference. So, when he was accepted to the state university, he jumped at the chance, even if it was on a football scholarship. This would be his big break; the reward for all his effort. But when his football teammates challenged him to spend a night in the college library's basement, he never thought he'd find a tome of the forbidden arts! Now, Chadwick is a star linebacker by day, hero by night. With the ancicent incantation of "HENSHIN," he dons his magic suit and gains the power to defeat evil. It seems impossible to juggle school, relationships and his hero duties - but magic can make the impossible possible!

Born to a well-off family, this character had it all. A strong charismatic personality, healthy relationships, an award winning smile, and a chiseled athletic body. In high school he was the star of the football team. Everybody loved him. Girls fawned over him. He was accepted to a prestigious college on a football scholarship. Even there he rose in popularity further as the team's star linebacker. But he wanted more. He wanted magic.

He was always curious about the dark arts. He knew that his father had dabbled in them in the past, but his old man was tight lipped and impossible to get any secrets out of. Desperate for knowledge, he found himself deep in his university's library. There was a strange door that he had never noticed before. He opened it and descended the stairs to find a room with a dusty old shelf filled with books. He quickly learned that the books were grimoires detailing different "schools" of magic. In the book of transmutation spells he found something surprising, the last person to check it out had been his father.

He took the book and began studying, unlocking the powers within himself. He gained access to arcane spells that let him strengthen and morph his own body. With the help of the spells he became even better at football, until something weird happened. While modifying his legs to increase his running speed something went wrong and from then on he was never quite able to play the same again. Something was off with himself that he just couldn't fix.

With his dreams of professional football crushed, he turned his sights elsewhere. He easily found work at a talent agency as an actor. After performing in a few small roles he had his next big break and nabbed a character perfect for himself. He became the star of a children's super hero show called C.H.A.D. He was the leader of a team of sentai suit heroes that fought against the evil Warlock, a villain that forced children to eat green capsicum. His character's powers matched his own, possessing both super strength and super speed. Foolishly he continued to use his magic abilities during the show itself, performing all of his own stunts. The errors with his body piled up, and he found himself leaving his suit on all of the time to hide the discoloration beginning to take place across his skin.

Now that he always wore the suit, he began to act the part of the character outside of the show as well. His sunny personality was a hit with children. Often he would find himself recognized by a child while he was just out and about. He always responded with a big smile, a press of the button on his Henshin Belt, and a pose. Some days he spends more time in the transformed neon suit than not. He happens to be a hit with the mothers, too! If you get to know him though you would learn that he is actually quite vain.
