Time to name this character. Here is what we know about her so far:
Pilot
Producer
Conspiracy
Always quirky and inquisitive, this character grew up as a bit of a weird outcast. Rather than the standard things a girl was expected to be interested in she was fascinated with ghosts, monsters, magic and murder mysteries. She searched her entire early life for proof that these things existed in the mundane world. During her freshman year of high school she managed to catch an interview on TV with a man named Trip. Trip claimed to be a survivor of something called the "Killing Game". He had footage evidence of a brutal murder game filled with fantastical creatures and magic. Also murder. The general public believed it to be fake but she knew it was true.
Upon graduating high school he knew what she must do. Her parents, very supportive of her endeavors, allowed her to use the small college fund they had put together to pay for a small single engine plane and camera equipment. She now travels around the country hunting for cryptids and murder mysteries. Her idol and one-sided rival, Trip, has since survive yet another Killing Game and now hosts a show called GhostQuest. She has traveled to many of the locations the show has covered to see if she could find anything interesting on her own but usually turns up nothing.
She hasn't made it big yet, but she is trying. With mainly just conspiracy theories to go off of, she hasn't had much success. However, thanks to her keen eye and attention to details she has in fact managed to pick up on and tape some real stories.
She submits pilot tapes for her own spooky series to television stations. They always get rejected due to being too gruesome or unbelievable. She has attempted to course correct by focusing on the stories of people that live near the monsters and ghosts rather than just the horrors themselves. Unfortunately she has found that these people generally don't believe in the stories and are terrible actors if they try to fake it. All of the rejected material is available for free uncensored on her blog.
Now she has started to accept that simply digging her nose into urban myths won't be enough. She needs to do the same thing that Trip did in order to find true success. She needs to join a Killing Game.
