the op made me replay bomberman hero for the first time since i was like 7 years old. i'm on the third world in the second set of levels rn and it's still p good. I like the bite-sized levels that encourage going for a high score, and i never noticed as a kid that there was actual logical progression when it comes to the themes of the level. it's like you're traversing through a real place, i love it. the gimmick levels are mostly fine, i don't exactly look forward to them and the hoverboard especially controls like major league ass, but they're a pretty small percentage of the game.
