I'm skeptic philosophically, so I'm willing to believe in the possibility of just about any cryptid.

For instance, even if Bigfoot is just a bigass hairy naked guy with big feet, it doesn't remove the fact that he's still Bigfoot. The explanation does not negate the existence. Much like finding out a UFO was just a frisbee doesn't negate that atthe timeof discovery, it was still an Unidentified Flying Object.
