i can't believe they did this shit with practical effects

I really miss practical effects. The problem with CG is that it sometimes looks more perfect than real life which can cause it to feel uncanny, especially CG animation in live action films. Animated characters have a habit of having unrealistically fluid motion, something that was mitigated by the janky element of animatronics.

Pretty freaking cool, I wish there were more people using practical effects today than CGI.
