which was a worse revival
The hype letdown from Banjo-Kazooie was pretty legendary, platformer to kart game is more or less an objective downgrade, it was like if Half-Life 3 was finally released and it turned out to be a dating sim

The Crash revival was Crash 4 - maybe the Team Racing remake, not Team Rumble. Crash 4 still was kinda "ehhhhhh" but it was a hell of a lot better than Nuts and Bolts, which even as a building/vehicle game felt like total dick to play.

Pretty much my thoughts on it; it wasn't what I wanted but it was fun enough for what it was. Still retained some of the Banjo Vibes, art style change was bad tho. For some reason Klungo's stupid arcade minigame is the most memorable part of it to me

this post would have made sense if you had thought up a bad hypothetical for half-life and not a fucking based sounding one

OK, then it's like if Half Life 3 was released and it turned out to be a kart building game
