And so, in the grand tradition of Killing Games, she will pay for her life, and we will move onto the next case. I have prepared...
As Deathborn speaks, Neil Marshall has been taking advantage of the size of the crowd to shift behind him. He aims and cocks the shotgun.

"Sorry 'bout this" *cocks gun* "but the buck stops here, Deathborn."
Neil begins to pull the trigger...
And metal swings through the air as Momoyo's pickaxe smashes the shotgun into pieces. She gives Neil a kick, booting him away. She grins.
Momoyo Himemushi

Now then. I do believe we have wasted enough time already. Let us begin the execution of Jessica!
A steel collar on a chain suddenly lunges out of the Mineral Storage room, clamping around Jessica's neck and yanking her backwards. It pulls her through Mineral Storage, into the Ruined Mine room, and down the mineshaft itself. She lands hard, the impact dislodging the collar, and as she sits up, a sheet of metal falls next to her. It's a riot shield, but it looks like it's made of gold instead of iron? Odd...
Before Jessica can think more on it, a rock flies down and hits her in the chest. Momoyo sticks her head over the side, grinning as she keeps hurling more rocks down the shaft at Jessica. She brings up the shield and starts to block them, but there's a lot flying down, and down here she's a sitting duck. Right. Time to climb out, then. Using her riot shield to both help climb and help guard, Jessica slowly climbs up the mineshaft, even as Momoyo continues to hurl rocks down at her. She buries the edge in, hoists herself up, and keeps climbing.
Eventually, she manages to pull herself onto the main floor, Momoyo chucking another rock that clips her shoulder. Jessica brings up the shield, but then she feels some heat, and turns to see Deathborn, who's equipped himself with a flamethrower. He lights it up, and the flame's far too close for comfort. Jessica swings her shield over, and the flame washes over that. It's hot, but she can take it. She begins to march forward through the fire and flames, pushing further as she gets close to Deathborn, who takes a couple steps back.
Then Jessica begins to hear the cracking noises in the shield. It's a strange, high-pitched sound, and as she pauses, Jessica realizes where she's heard it before. Looking at her shield again, she realizes it's not gold.
It's pyrite.
The pyrite shield explodes apart, sending a piece of shrapnel between Jessica's eyes with the force of a bullet. She collapses lifelessly, and as Deathborn turns off the flamethrower, Momoyo walks over, picks up a different chunk of the shield, and takes a bite.
