It looks like there's a couple blowtorches that'd have butane; the fridge uses freon, so there's no butane going on there, as the Crimson Eye do not respect the environment. As for the gas stove, you light it up. Looks like it's natural gas, which is mostly methane, not butane.

Alrighty, first things first. I reckon it seems like a while ago now, but we still got Tsavorae's killer on the loose out there - and for once they don't got the guts to come clean after gettin' away with it. Don't know about y'all but that ain't givin' me any good feelins', so I went over to the Sheriff's Office to make a new wanted poster for 'em. Not Shane came in and tried to deputize me, which I politely turned down 'cause y'all have seen the life expectancy of a lawman in this here town. I can't be sure if he took no fer an answer, though. Look sheriff, I'm happy to help you but not in any official capacity, y'hear? That deputy position of yers is real cursed, I reckon.

Anyhow, he left after that and I finished up makin' my poster. Heard a gunshot from over in the General Store and then Elster came on in. Can't say I saw anyone 'round those parts but Roland says he saw me so I guess I was just too focused on pickin' up a birthday present for Akira. I know we started off on the wrong foot with that stage incident the first night we were here, but I was hopin' to patch things up between us. Besides, she's really been through it what with her party the other night gettin' cancelled and all. This one ain't exactly all roses either.

Must've made a lil' slip with my schedulin', 'cause I went to the Saloon but it was empty 'cept for Not Shane hangin' 'round the bar. I blame Marty.

Since there was no party goin' on I went over to Carpentry and upstairs to the Target Range for Roland's fightin' match. Kroos was already there. Oh yeah, and I heard a loud train whistle goin' off right when I got there. We waited 'round for a spell fer things to get started, and eventually McJango showed up, then Bud a lil' bit after that, and then Roland shows up. Decided to wait a bit to step in and watched him fight Kroos, and while that was goin' on Akira and Reginald came in. Reginald was wearin' a big ol' floppy hat too, not exactly somethin' I'd pick out for m'self. Then Roland fought McJango and Lynne came in, followed by a fight with Reginald, then ol' Cascabela came in makin' a real show of herself. Roland fought Lynne and then Akira, and while that was goin' on Reginald left and Nico and Jessica came in. While Roland was fightin' Bud, Not Shane, Hollywood Bowl, and North Star wearin' some new getup came in. Evangeline came in while Roland was fightin' Nico. Then he fought Jessica and Bud decided to take his leave 'round that time.

Now it was my turn to fight Roland, and even though there was a rule for no big irons, I had a special trick up my sleeves. Y'see, everyone else was goin' all in on their combat moves but I didn't see no special tactics. Bein' haunted by Marty's given me a real appreciation for good old-fashioned cowboy music at least, so I caught him off guard by playin' the ol' banjo and sweepin' him off his feet. Gotta say that was real exhilaratin', nice work pardner.

Went back to watchin' the fights after that. Not Shane, Evangeline, and Cascabela each fought him, Zalsarona came in with some sammiches, then North Star fought him, Hifumi came in with even more sammiches and her turn was up next. Nico left durin' the fight, and when Zalsarona went up to fight, I decided it was 'bout time I dropped in on the birthday party.

Everything looked done up real nice, the place was decorated all fancy-like and there was even a cake. Akira, Neil, Honoka, Nico, and Lynne were all there when I showed up. I gave Akira my present - hope ya liked it, ma'am - and after a bit we put on a lil' musical performance together. Not Shane came in, followed by McJango and Partitio. Partitio went on upstairs and then Hifumi came in and I heard a bunch o' loud bangs. It was Cascabela again, not real sure when she got in, then suddenly things got real hot and I turned to see Neil on fire. Didn't see how it went down, I'm afraid, was too distracted by the racket that snake lady was makin'. Tried to go put himself out in the rain but couldn't make it in time, the poor feller.

Party was pretty ruined, so I decided to make my exit. I was already plannin' this, but that whole ordeal really sold it to me that with how dire things have been gettin', we need a real action hero to rally around and protect the innocent - namely m'self! So I went to the Tailor to put together a flashy new costume... which may've been a mistake seein' as how the only people wearin' costumes around here seem to be interested in causin' mischief and mayhem. Y'all can take a look if you wanna see it, but I think I'm gonna be gettin' rid o' that. Anyhow, went lookin' for Hollywood Bowl to do some filmin' and found him holed up editin' in the Soundstage. Elster came in from Equipment and the two of us went back into the Saloon. Hifumi was leavin', and Kroos, Nico, Not Shane, and Honoka were sharin' some drinks. Went on up through the Gamblin' Parlor to get up on the roof and get some footage. I was hopin' I might spy somethin' of note but it was rainin' somethin' fierce and pretty late, so I got back down to the ground by Water Tower and we wrapped things up.

Before I went to bed, I tried to get into that Telegraph Office to signal for help. I ain't sure of what this Crimson Eye is, and I suspect they're not up to much good either if Texas Red was workin' for 'em, but they seemed pretty averse to what's goin' on here if that note Kroos dug up is any indication. Partitio was leavin' the area as I arrived, unfortunately it was locked up tight again. Dang it Marty!

What did I do?

I dunno I'm sure it's yer fault somehow. Anyhow, that was a bust so I went back to the dorm to go to bed.

Yeah, I had some. Keyword: Had. The ones in that room were in the part that got incinerated yesterday. I've got no clue if anyone took anything.

You check the Tobacconist. It appears butane is available in the form of lighter fluid, which comes in small containers. It appears some of these containers are indisputably missing.

"Alright, looks like we've got another case to solve... and I was at ground zero for this one happening. Not pleasant!

Taking my night from the beginning. I woke up, and I just wanted to test out my voice for a while. Calm down and do some singing. So I went over to the Blue Building, went upstairs, and did some performing in the Soundstage. It's recorded, if you need to check it out. It went well, except for when I got thrown off by hearing a loud train whistle. After that, I went down to the Saloon to see if the birthday party was ready, but I saw Akira making her decorations and Jessica hanging out. Jessica wanted to talk to me, so we went upstairs to the Gambling Parlor and talked for a while. It was nice. Sorry that you're dead, Jessica.

After that, we went downstairs, and Jessica went over to the Target Range - the Saloon was empty at this point, by the way. I went down to the Train Station, because there was something I wanted to find an answer to regarding the train itself. Unfortunately, I didn't find it, so that ended up a waste of my time. When that was done, I went back to the Saloon. I saw Akira and Neil there, and they were about to put some decorations up, so I offered to help! Which Akira let me do. I hung some of those purple lanterns and a few of Neil's streamers around the ceiling, I think they add a lot to the atmosphere.

Unfortunately I think the atmosphere kind of died when Neil did, but oh well. Lynne entered, and then so did Nico. She dragged me over to a table in the southeast corner, and we started talking for a while as the party opened with Ranger playing and Akira singing. I had a great talk with Nico, and the background party was enjoyable - even the popping noises felt like they added something, though the burst of heat and the scream of Neil dying... welll we talked about that. After that, the whole mood plummeted when Akira was screaming at us, and after Ranger, Akira, Partitio, Lynne, and McJango had all left, it wasn't much of a party anymore.

So Cascabela said we should all drink instead, and I thought that was a great idea. I joined her, Nico, and Hifumi at the bar, with Not Shane tending it, and we just decided to get drunk. Cascabela gave me a couple tips about bathing in virgin blood like Partitio does, but I don't really know what she meant. Everyone knows eternal youth comes from divinity. Unfortunately. Anyway, Kroos came in, Cascabela staggered off, then Hifumi left, Ranger entered and went upstairs, and Not Shane after that. The last three of us stayed a bit longer, but then we broke up and left.

Tonight was a wild ride... it kicked off ‘cause I was mad hungry and needed a snack. I hit up the Saloon and set my mini cam to catch the vibes later, but guess what? It got wrecked as soon as I dashed upstairs. Heard two loud bangs, so I'm thinking some party crasher broke my lil gadget... my owner’s gonna be bummed! :(



The noise freaked me out, but then this chill dude Bud hooked me and Lynne up with some cactus soup, and I was vibin' as a happy soup boy! Hifumi swung by to chill before the legendary Madame Zalsarona came through to cook.

I see the Madame Zalsarona and chill dude Bud whip it up in the kitchen, and I’m like ‘meow’ to hype them up. Then Madame Zalsarona hooks me up with a snack, and I’m vibin’ with happiness!!!



I let them chill and I head downstairs to find a totally empty Saloon, so I bounce over to see my dude Roland at the Target Range! As I roll in, Kroos and Ranger are just chilling. Ranger’s jamming on the Banjo, and soon Bud and Roland pull up!

Roland throws hands with Kross, Akira, and Regland (rocking that floppy hat) . Outta nowhere, I end up at the front, and dude just pets my head. I pet back (though i forgot my claws were out) , and then he literally KICKS ME ACROSS THE ROOM?? Like, bruh. Feelin' kinda down rn............... He rolls up to my side, helps me up, and hooks me up with a lil' prize for a good boy. Snacks help me recover while i watch the action for a bit, this dude's all about that brawl life i guess. Sometime when North Star shows up to throw down, I dip and check out the Trading Post.



I stumble on this dope shipment chart from 1873. Did y'all know that shipments to the Trading Post and General Store totally stopped in April 1873? That's wild, fam. I roll back to the Saloon for the party, Akria's n stage with Ranger on the Banjo again. I hit up some friends at a table to catch the show.

After I placed the radio in Deathborn's bed, I took dorm stairs up to the tailor to grab my sewing kit. I then took the same stairs back down and exited the building through the dorms.

I never put a foot inside the bank tonight, so you can't have seen me leave through there.

You look over the paper lanterns. They're little purple construction paper lanterns, containing fake candles - the kind that are actually just lightbulbs on top of plastic, to look like a candle when you don't look too closely. They're held to the ceiling by yarn.

You look at the end of the thread on the ceiling. It ends in a sharp, clean cut.

You do this. It seems like it produces about the same results as the regular full liquor bottle did, which is to say same shape but lighter bruise.

Shot in the dark, I wanna take a look over at the Gambling Parlor and the Brewery. Restaurant too, while we're at it.

Mostly, I want to take a look around the floor. Above the stage specifically. Any holes in the floor, loose floorboards, any way someone coulda' pulled this off from upstairs?
