I'm being 100% srs rn. There's been many times where I could've blown all my spending money on anime related shit but didn't because all the material things don't bring me happiness like hidamari and other shows do just by watching them.

Same thing goes for shit like card games, sports and any other hobby. Don't let it take over you.

anime certainly improved my life, it helped me gain a First Class Honours, it helped me get laid, it helped me understand how fucking dank life is, it helped me able to write cool characters in my fictional works, it's helped me learn Japanese, plus it's pretty much the only relevant form of philosophy in the current meta
