My parents love me, but my dad is the kind of person who thinks that because he reads books he knows everything and has a free pass to insult people. As such it's pretty annoying to have any sort of serious discussion with him. He also beat my little sister's puppy and decided to try and kick my fiance out of his house for subsequently calling him an asshole, so yeah he can go to hell
