as i mentioned about 50 times already in this thread i'm freaking out because of ~take social cues or we're going to force our will on you~

No see I understand that's what you're freaking out about. The thing is nobody is trying to force anything on you. I don't understand why you're upset about being expected to take social cues, considering you've been a part of society for over two decades.

There are no serious plans to limit the dupe feature for anybody. I feel like you just read a short discussion and gleaned some sort of conspiracy theory from it.

i used this metaphor in the discord of mw being this giant laboratory with lights and alarms and switches with a giant LED that sometimes switches to "puddin is having fun" whenenver a new feature is implimented at which point an alarm goes off and a bunch of mw users who are complaining about something i'm doing (picture them as the "mine mine mine mine" seagulls from captain nemo) are pecking at the mw staff who are frantically running around pushing buttons and pulling levers trying to make the "puddin is having fun" alarm stop sirening

Is this senseless paranoia coming from the same place in your brain which tells you anyone considering you for a job is going to come across your posts on a Mario forum simply because your first name was used?

I like you Puddin. I'm sure most others do too. Nobody with any authority is making any sort of active attempt to get you to stop using dupes. The only dupes I have a problem with are the ones that attempt to trick people into thinking someone else is posting (I wouldn't mind @HylianDev's parody of myself if it didn't use my exact avatar)
