This is definitely the weakest world they've shown off. It looks kinda empty, and the colors are bland. Still looks fun to me. The jungle and ice worlds looked solid too.

Doing indoor levels in a 3D Platformer is tricky because you have to completely fuck with the scale of everything so you can jump around on it





That Casino level is easily the weakest when it comes to visual cohesion, but the gameplay itself looks really solid. Having already played the Toybox I already know the game feels good to play.

I'm a little disappointed that the casino looks so boring. Casino is like, my favorite theme!

I doubt they'll spruce it up before release but I'll hold out for it none the less.

I dunno, keeping in mind that worlds expand as you collect more shit, in conjunction with having actually just replayed banjo-kazooie and realizing that a chunk of the worlds are far more bland than this one, I think it'll be fun

I don't know why it was decided hub worlds are shit. Yeah, they're "padding" but its the best kind of padding.

Might as well pack it up everyone. Turns out no one was actually wanting 15 years for Banjo sequel but instead wanted a game with Jontron in it. The game's ruined now.

I think it's a little naive to include Yooka-Laylee in competition with Super Mario Odyssey at all. Like, I'm really looking forward to YL but I don't think it's going to be THAT good. Maybe I'll be proven wrong very soon.
