Would be nice to have so you dont have to fear your thread suddenly becoming porn central or just derailing in general

Yeah, I ageee. It's a shame when genuine threads are effectively assassinated and any hope of on topic discussion is lost.
You guys say this now, but when MW and MFGG are merged together due to @Pedigree carefully calculated plot I'll be laughing at all of you in the alternative cosmic dimension while sipping on some Arizona tea in my puma tracksuit stroking my dick to Solange and the thought of world abolishment by furries except I'm free from the bullshit; you all are in the matrix. Peace.

ok i see that this tek might be a bit strong in the current meta but bans are for weaklings
multi-posting should cost 1000EX per additional post to encourage controlled aggression rather than spamming

pls

We need higher level spells now that do some serious shit.

I'm not exactly sure about that. Why not we leave spells as minor disruptions and call it a day

I mean, stick around is already right at the edge

Honestly the fact that people are still trying to use this forum as a platform for serious discussion means we have failed. People shouldn't be concerned about thread derailment on a silly joke forum. They want a platform for uninterrupted discussion, like any other boring-ass forum.

i still hate the idea that a community ive been part of for 10 years suddenly decided that they were now a joke site where being able to hold a conversation is secondary to Whacky HTML5 Bullshit and that if i complain im "missing the point"

spells are fun but im here for the community, not the ability to dump virtual paint on people

i'd definitely say the point of mw at this point is a mixture of serious and silly

people absolutely want to get real on the forums/discord, but there's the familiar levity that keeps people bonded around too

spritey's statements that there was some sort of failure because people want to have serious discussions is kinda insane lol.

im fine w the silliness i just dont like the idea of getting rid of the ability to still be serious too

If you don't like spells, then please disable them in User CP.

You can still interact with the community without this optional feature you complain so vocally about. In fact:

PEDIGREE'S HANDY-DANDY NO SPELLS GUIDE

So some shitposter has cast a spell that makes it a pain to read or interact with a post? I just hate when that happens!

1. GO TO USER CP AND CLICK ON "SPELL SETTINGS"

2. USING THE DROPBOX SELECT "DISABLE AND HIDE ALL SPELLS", THEN CLICK "SAVE SETTINGS"

Now you can read and interact on the forums and never see a pesky spell again.
In fact, nobody can cast spells on you and you can't cast spells on anyone else. It's a win, win situation!

I hope this has helped you with your horrible experiences on Megan World.

youre right!

but the proposed contintental drift spell would actually split threads unavoidably

I still don't think we should outright discourage thoughtful discussion because that's nice every once in a while. Spells are one thing, but blatant derails can't be disabled in the User CP.
