I don't remember which one it was, but there was a certain cereal I bought once that, even with liquid, it'd destroy the roof of my mouth

Capn Crunch is pretty notorious for that. My problem was I would just eat bowl after bowl of dry cereal and suck on each spoonful against the roof of my mouth rather than chew it
