[Line Break Podcast] DAY 2: Literary art, and how Japanese poets hate refrigerators.

Welcome back to the Line Break Podcast! Last time, we learned about the basics of the line break. In this episode, we're gonna create some actual art!

Poetry is one of the most versatile literature genres, where your creativity will be challenged to the max. If you can't tell a big story, at least tell a small one and hope somebody cares about it. If you add rhymes and reasons, you'll get bonus points and someone might call you a god or something.

In this case, we're gonna talk about how <br/> is the haiku's best friend. What? You haven't heard of haiku? It's the popular asian way of poetry by telling the shortest story possible in the most cryptic style! Slapping a good ol' 5-7-5 syllables gives you the highest amount of challenge possible in creating something that won't make someone's head turn away. "But Pea", you say, "How do we figure out what's gonna be the 5 and what's gonna be the 7?" Simple, add a br tag!

Wise man in a Minecraft 24/7 low grav tf2 server once Wrote:Toof's corpse is nearby<br/>
Reanimate, then murder<br/>
Holy shit, zombie!

Refreshing and exciting, too! Why don't you give it a try?

All haiku, no matter the quality, as long as they follow the 5-7-5 rule and apply the <br/> tag, will be rewarded with 10 exp each. Get creative!

Next time, we'll try dipping the <br/> tag in fudge and taste it. I'll bring the fudge maker.
