but honestly i think the root of it is how its somehow able to take old generic shonen tropes and breathe new life into them with its creativity

also hero killer stain is one of my favorite villains in recent fiction if only bc of how realistic and multifaceted he is

I like how they have a ton of different characters yet have been doing a good job of spending an appropriate amount of time on each.
