I like the sound of that.

It also sounds like a page that could use an auto-refresh element.

I would even like a link to the page added to the welcome block on top.

I think it has more utility than Today's Posts

Or buddy list, you can easily go to your buddy list via your profile

Yeah I'd like to add avatars to search results too

I would like it if viewing users online was a pop-up like your buddy list. Your buddies could be displayed at the top, and everyone else below. You could see what thread they're reading and send them a PM if you wanted.

Yeah. Most of that stuff works better as a pop-up, not sure why the buddy list is the only one in a pop-up by default
