This is actually a pretty difficult thread to make for me.Whenever I talk about my OCs, I always think that people are just not going to care or ignore me, which is honestly fine but... a lot of the time, it just gets on your mind a little too much, it drags you down and shit.
To be honest... I'm pretty ambitious myself. I'm one of those people that are constantly thinking "yeah, this would make for a good game" when in reality, all I can do well is writing and character designing. That's about it. Writing, Characters, and... not much more.
But... since @sealelement (not saying this is a bad thing) wanted to know a bit more about them, I'll make this thread and visit it every five seconds or so.
I won't put down EVERY character, of course. Since writing requires you to add, and add, and add characters that aren't really important.
As of right now, I have two separate stories I'm working on, focusing on the latter but also constantly thinking of the former (working on the latter's easier).
Former's supposed to be some kind of platforming game which I'll never do (because I can't code) and the other one's supposed to be a visual novel (which is way more simple and doable for a coding nut like me!). Like I said, I only write and design. If I focus on anything else, it'll drag me down.
Anyway, I'll hide a relatively quick summary of the stories and some of its characters under spoiler boxes.
I've been working on these for too long now, and yet... it's still just a story.
UPDATE: Due to this post already having a lot of info, I'm probably going to get into detail about the Visual Novel some other time.

Side 1 - ???
Still no name for it, despite having most of it written up in my head.
Summary:
The story's set on the Medieval Era.
In the Kingdom of Iliofengari, peace and war has merged into one, letting most of its citizens rest easy and assured. Some of them, however, still remain suspicious of the Kingdom's sudden silence and calmness, forcing their own hand to discover a horrible truth.
Both of these people are the main characters of the story, Junipher Belrose and Haruka Asami. Junipher's a part of the royalty, aware of how corrupt it's all become, always feeling internal anger from their actions and orders. Haruka's a foreigner, living next to an old man's farm with a brother who forms a part of said royalty as one of the queen's personal bodyguards; always growing envious of his and her other royal friend's success.
The two of them, sharing the same hatred for their kingdom, decide to investigate the castle with much more detail, eventually finding out that the sole reason it's all been extremely calm is because of what lies at the center of the earth. For many years, the kingdom's acquired and manipulated a core in where everyone and everything's power is stored, abusing it to no end and forcing it to become highly unstable.
After being caught and forced to form a part of said core, Junipher manages to break a part of it before Haruka is assassinated.
This causes the core to explode, letting all of its power go out to every part of the kingdom, spreading itself to no end and creating a lot of unstability on the realm itself.
(prologue ends here)
That's mostly how the story starts, it's supposed to be linear. The rest of it is shown via gameplay.
I always loved Metroidvanias, so I thought that once the prologue ends, you'd get a small tutorial and then the ability to do whatever you want as long as you go through with your mission. Of course, there'd be side-quests, dialogues, stuff to do, etc. But I'll get to that in a bit.
Depending on which character you chose, all of the game becomes different by having separate bosses to fight and routes to take. The interactions also change for the both of them, as some characters may recognize one but not the other.
Both of those protagonists are meant to be 'overpowered' in a sense, having a lot of power that makes them unable to die, but also not making the game a total cakewalk... maybe it's something like, you've got a lot of power, but so do the rest of the opponents you're faced against. You can't lose, but you're not guaranteed to win.
It's a really neat idea I had for the longest time, and also something that makes me happy to talk about.
Now, you're probably asking what the main goal of the game is. It's simple, actually. The core exploded, and you want to repair it by giving some of its power back.
That's it. Simple, right?
However, there's a catch. A lot of that power has merged into the souls of seven powerful entities, and you (no matter the character) are one of them, meaning that you're also being hunted down by others, seeking the core's blessing.
So, basically, tl;dr: You're a monster, hunting down other monsters.
Once you take down a boss, you can take its soul or weapon and use it yourself.
ANYWAY. Because you must be confused, let me give an even shorter summary.
Gameplay: You're a big (or small) scary monster. It varies with the character.
- Character 1: A clingy axe is bound to you. You can throw it, and it'll come back. You can't die, but you're also not alive, meaning that your health is instead fatigue. Big, Strong, and Fast outside of combat. A stupid demon is following you.
- Character 2: A clingy cloak is bound to you. Under certain circumstances, said cloak can turn into a powerful fire sword. The cloak does not like you. Instead of dying, your body explodes and regenerates shortly after. Small, Strong, and Fast in combat. Mom is following you.
Type of game: Metroidvania, Platformer. Inspired on the Megaman Zero, Touhou Project and Fullmetal Alchemist series (as well as some others I'm probably forgetting about). Quick-paced.
Story: The core of earth's blown up. Turns out, that core had a lot of power that's now scattered across a ruined kingdom. Fix that core, gain more power, and make your body turn back to normal so you can (properly) die.
Bosses: Each boss has a different moveset and pattern to look out for. You meet them through the first half of the game on different parts of the map, but to fight them, you have to fulfill their tasks (ex: bring a skeleton dog to one, give money to another). All fights have consist on three phases, but a bonus phase can be fought against on higher difficulties. The only bosses who do not follow these rules are Wrath and Envy, who appear in specific spots throughout the game.
That's all of it, I hope. Please don't kill me for writing so much. There's obviously a lot more of the story that I could write about, but I think i covered all of what seems to be the important stuff.

Main characters:
Envy:
"Character 1" in the Summary.
Reference picture:
Some commissions:
Name: Envy (formerly known as Haruka Asami)
Age: Unknown (15 during the prologue.)
Height: Very tall (over 2,00m tall)
Weight: Very light (but with a complex, defined body)
Gender: Female.
Personality: Envy's an extremely calm, extremely tired shinigami. She likes to tease the humans she comes across, but also refuses to kill anyone that appears to not oppose a threat. Often likes to lie down on the ground for no real reason, and also stare at her axe until it grows tired. Unable to feel many emotions, such as hunger, fear, happiness, sadness, anger and love. Despite this, she is constantly smiling, staring at whoever has any of those emotions showing.
Story: After the events of the prologue, Haruka Asami merges with Envy's soul, spending five years in a limbo before getting out of it. She's rescued next to her house by a demon under the name of Hantu, who says to be Envy's owner and companion. She then receives a proper explanation of what happened and what the world has devolved into, being tasked with taking out the rest of the sins to repair the core and revert the world's changes.
Weapon: A cursed adze. The axe is very much sentient, but refuses to speak, as it hates doing so. Has an eye on its back that closes itself upon seeing a threat. The axe can hold more than one soul, forcing Envy to use this to reap and take more of them. It cannot be destroyed.
Other stuff: Since she's neither dead nor alive, her body functions differently than other's. She cannot be killed nor hurt, and is known to be able to see even with both eyes closed. Powered by her own soul, Envy usually ignores basic tasks such as eating, but takes baths and sleeps to replenish her fatigue. Cannot laugh, and produces no body fluids such as blood and water.

Name: Wrath (formerly known as Junipher Belrose)
Age: Unknown (18 during the prologue.)
Height: Average (around 1,60m)
Weight: Normal/Average
Gender: None (female during the prologue)
Personality: Wrath is a serious, quick swordsmaster. They don't really care for anyone or anything, and refuse to do things such as playing around without a real reason to do so, only participating if there is money or food involved. Hates human stupidity, but likes to play dumb and taunt weaker opponents given the situation. Often dances to dodge attacks, and poses to block others. Angered with ease.
Story: After the events of the prologue, Junipher Belrose merges with Wrath's soul, waking up in their bedroom to immediately fight with each other, since Wrath and Junipher do not like being in the same body. Calming down after an intense fight, they meet Pride, who claims to be Wrath's mother. Then they receive a proper explanation of what happened and what the world has devolved into, being tasked with stopping Envy and the rest of the sins to let the core stay as is and claim the kingdom's throne once more.
Weapon: A sword and magic tomes given by mom. However, the one true weapon that's always bound to Wrath is a cursed cloak. Said cloak is constantly talking to Wrath and threatening to take over the body, only transforming into a fire sword on extreme situations. Has an eye on its back, stabbing it will anger the cloak. Said cloak cannot be destroyed.
Other stuff: Unlike Envy, Wrath's body has similar functions to the one of a human, with an extreme amount of swiftness and strength added to it. Upon receiving a lethal blow, Wrath's body will catch on fire, exploding shortly after and regenerating on its own (think Majin Buu). Despite being unable to die, Wrath becomes very tired after regenerating, causing them to become unable to fight until most of that energy's recovered. Because of this, Pride/Mom is always watching over Wrath and carrying a spare set of clothes.

(Sin) Bosses:
Lust:
The oldest OC I have.
Reference picture(s):
Some commissions:
(same commission, colors by me but also unfinished, so don't worry if it looks bad.)
Name: Melanie Belrose (also known as Lust)
Age: 20 (deceased)
Height: Average (around 1,55m)
Weight: Thin (but extremely light)
Gender: Female
Personality: She's a playful, ladylike ghost. Despite having merged with Lust, Melanie's got a lot of self-control and high mannerisms that prevent her from feeling hatred and manipulating other people for her own needs, thus letting her be more like Melanie than Lust. Since she's also a part of the royalty, she's been trained and taught to be a proper lady, even if she does not care for the royalty itself. Loves 'Haruka' (Envy) more than anyone else, and admires 'Junipher' (Wrath) for being her sister. Just like Envy, she loves teasing humans to no end.
Story: During the prologue, Melanie's shown to be marrying a man by force. Before the core explodes, she attempts to stab herself with a dagger in hopes to end the wedding. After it explodes, she merges with Lust and turns into a ghost, trapped in the church until Envy shows up. Lust/Melanie asks for a dog and a few other things (such as her hand) in order to fight her. Once the fight is dealt with, she hops into Envy's adze and follows her home, staying in her house while also becoming her wife.
Envy then reaps Lust's soul out of Melanie as she sleeps, making no difference in her personality whatsoever.
Wrath: They'll meet at the church, but Wrath will fight another boss, and will instead arrive when she's already gone.
Weapon: A cursed dagger she took out of her chest. Since the dagger is stuck and cannot be taken out, Melanie uses the bloody thorns coming out of it instead. These thorns can be made out of human blood, sucking the life of whoever's hit by them. This can easily kill humans, but it's only been used on corpses from the church.
Other stuff: Since she's a ghost, she has a hard time not phasing through objects, as it's very easy to go in them. This also means that her internal organs and muscles hold ectoplasm instead of blood and water. Her relationship with Envy/Haruka comes from their childhood, escaping from the kingdom in secret just to meet each other, proceeding to mock, fight and bully her for being poor and weak. She's unable to face sunlight without turning back into a spirit.

Gluttony:
Probably the one character with the craziest design by far.
Reference pictures:
Commissioned picture:
(colored, ignore the reference sheet at the top left)
Name: Syntix (but mostly known as Gluttony)
Age: 12 (unable to age any further)
Height: Small (below 1,50m)
Weight: Average
Gender: Complicated (previously Female)
Personality: Due to her hyperactive nature, Gluttony is unable to stand still. They're the merge of a female cat, a male dog, a child and Gluttony's soul. Because of this, Gluttony is constantly thinking and speaking in many ways, only stopping and feeling calm while eating. However, this does not mean that Gluttony's theme is exclusive to food, as they're known to be a thief that steals from the royalty (similar to Robin Hood). Vegetarian, considers most creatures to be friends, and thus refuses to eat them.
Story: During the prologue, Syntix's shown to be cooking inside the castle next to her dog and cat. After the core explodes, she hugs them both in fear of losing either of them, causing them to be merged together along with a cleaver on Syntix's hand. Imprisoned upon waking up for being 'an abomination', and later freed by Envy, immediately headed for a house at the woods in order to go back to their old life. To take away the negative thoughts from Gluttony, they force themselves to fight.
Envy then reaps Gluttony's soul out of Syntix as they're weakened, slightly calming them down.
Wrath: Fights off Gluttony's 'pet' instead, meeting Syntix at the house but hearing that Envy's now gone.
Weapon: A cursed meat cleaver. The meat cleaver's the one holding Gluttony's soul, causing Syntix to be nervous whenever it acts on its own accord. Unlike most weapons, this cleaver's sentient enough to transform and attack without a warning, eating anything it cuts. Acts as a boomerang when thrown.
Other stuff: Syntix is known to have a strong bond with Greed, since she used to cook for the royalty and then share some of the food and gains with the poor and also some farmers. Known to have extremely strong senses. Gluttony's body consists of a lot of fur that they have to shave on a daily basis, stating that 'it will get in the way whenever cooking needs to be done'. This also applies to Gluttony's hair.

Greed:
The most metal out of them.
Reference picture(s):
(similar to these, latter being the disguised version)
Name: Marius (but mostly known as Greed)
Age: 79 (unable to age any further)
Height: Very tall (above 2,50m - around 1,90m while calm)
Weight: Extremely heavy (not because of fat)
Gender: None (previously Male)
Personality: Greed is a very calm and friendly gashadokuro (look it up). To not scare anyone off, Greed uses a mask of its previous self (Marius) to disguise, only taking it off in combat or outside of the kingdom. Usually prefers to have a quiet life at its old farm than anything, has a skeleton wife. Hates money, prefers metals instead. Will not attack nor move first in a battle, as they think it would be unfair.
Story: During the prologue, Marius is shown at his farm, seeing his wife die of old age near the end of it. After the core explodes, Greed wakes up with a rapier made out of gold and titanium merged directly into their left arm. To get rid of their old body, Greed makes a pact with the devil, selling it in exchange of a skeleton made entirely out of metals while also offering the souls and bodies of everyone killed by their rapier, eventually making an entire arena dedicated to this purpose.
Envy meets up with Greed later on, paying an entrance fee to get in the arena and then defeating them.
Wrath: Fights against a different set of characters instead.
Weapon: A cursed rapier made out of gold titanium. Greed states that it's the last object they held onto before 'dying'. Receiving a lethal blow from this rapier will banish your body and soul to a mysterious location, allowing those touched by it to become immortal along with eternal suffering. Greed will grow taller every time this happens.
Other stuff: The money earned from the arena and other means is directly put onto Greed's old farm, placing the excess on those worthy of having it. Uses a tuxedo, gloves and a mask to appear like a normal human being. Later on drops this disguise to become a normal farmer once again. Usually invites Gluttony, Envy and Melanie over for dinner. Has hired two mercenaries to look after the arena in case Greed is not present.

Sloth:
Non-threatening.

Commissioned picture:
It's pretty old, not really up to date. But it's the only commission I got with them.
Name: Lilith (but mostly known as Lily or Sloth)
Age: 24 (unable to age any further)
Height: Small (less than an average person)
Weight: Average
Gender: Female
Personality: Lilith is an intelligent, slow dullahan. She works for a doctor by the name of Paracelsus, having sworn loyalty to her name in exchange of living in her laboratory. Due to the name of 'Sloth', many people think she's lazy, when in reality this just means she acts without thinking. Since she's a dullahan, Lilith occupies the role of being the head, while Sloth takes care of the body, using Lilith's head to guide itself.
Story: During the prologue, Lilith is a simple messenger, lead to depression after getting bullied by Envy. After the core explodes, Lilith wakes up in a laboratory, meeting a doctor who assumed she was dead. Because of her calm nature, Lilith is trained to be a librarian instead of actually fighting, given that working with books was the only thing Lilith was actually good at. Every night, Sloth's body rides on its horse to haunt the town and harvest anything on her way to later eat at the laboratory.
Envy finds out that Sloth dropped a key to the laboratory, heading there and defeating Sloth by attacking Lilith.
Wrath: Not wanting to wait for Sloth nor Envy to show up, they break through the back of the laboratory, fighting the doctor instead.
Weapon: A cursed armor. This impenetrable armor is put on automatically whenever Sloth is out to hunt, becoming entirely invulnerable to any attack, with the drawback of being blind. This armor can change both gauntlets to be either swords or shields.
Other stuff: The way Lilith and Sloth's bodies work is kind of complicated. Lilith, being a head that's separate from the body, has to be fed and watered manually, having a hole under it that processes the food on its mouth. This food can then be shoved into Sloth's neck to feed its body. Needs meat to survive. Despite being separate bodies, Sloth can communicate with Lilith telepathically, using her eyes for guidance. Once Sloth is defeated, Lilith gains full control over the other side of the body.

Pride:
Anything but a queen.
Reference picture(s):
(latter being Tsukuyomi)
Commissioned pictures:
(colored)
Name: Pride (also known as Tsukuyomi Netoile)
Age: 58 (unable to age any further)
Height: Average (taller than Melanie and Wrath)
Weight: Thin
Gender: Female
Personality:Pride is a smug, half-vampire half-ghost mother of two. She's the one constantly following Wrath around, only going away during the nights. Owner and caretaker of a zombie, her ghost umbrella and a demon child. She's also a blacksmith.
Story:She's the first sin to wake up, immediately trying to find someone else for protection, given the amount of monsters and corrupt humans that were plaguing the kingdom at the moment. Because of this, she resurrects the mutilated body of a swordsmaster inside a huge cave, who later becomes her servant. She has a longer backstory, but I don't want to make it too long.
After beating every other sin, Envy lures Pride out of her cave by capturing her servant, showing no mercy.
Wrath: They capture Pride's other servant, getting to the cave before Envy but fighting a different character instead.
Weapon: Various magic tomes. Unlike other sins, Pride does not have a cursed weapon. Instead, what's cursed about Pride are her arms: They phase through everything, being able to hold and use inanimate objects in place with telekinesis. Arguably the weakest sin.
Other stuff: Pride depends on her servants for a fight, as they're all known to have high fighting capabilities. Every midnight, Pride transforms back into her old self, Tsukuyomi. Tsukuyomi, being Pride's alter ego, shares a completely different personality and appearance. Her face has been cut open at least once.
---
Name: Tsukuyomi Netoile (also known as Pride's alter ego)
Age: 20 (unable to age any further)
Gender: Female
Personality: Tsukuyomi is a malicious, ladylike vampire. Unlike Pride, she does not care for either relatives or other living beings. Attracted by the scent of perfume, to an unhealthy degree. Known to like other vampires, them being the only people she's somewhat kind towards.
Story: During the prologue, she's shown as a fearsome queen who causes the events of the game to happen. Throughout the game, she's shown to be corrupt with malice, yet with a very neutral mindset.
Weapon: Unlike Pride, Tsukuyomi's arms are monster-like rather than ghost-like, turning her nails into sword-knives. These knives can bend, making her able to grab and choke opponents with ease.
Other stuff: Despite her malice, Tsukuyomi does not like trouble, as it could end up harming Pride. She usually hangs out in the forest outside of Pride's cave, waiting for a human to walk by. If there is anyone in the entire kingdom that's using perfume, she will be able to smell it, wasting no time in heading over. Somewhat anemic.

Other (important) characters:
Pandora & Hantu:
Reference picture(s):
Commissioned picture:
(colored by me and Reiji for the insides of Pandora's cloak)
Name: Pandora (Alice P. Feir)
Age: 10 (+200, cannot physically age)
Height: Small (less than 1,50m)
Weight: Slender (barebones, extremely light)
Gender: Female
Personality: An extremely serious, half-demon half-witch child. Refuses to speak, as her voice is the same as the devil's. Rarely goofy around friends. Unable to smile, feel love and happiness. Hates humanity.
Story: The lovechild of a demon and a witch. Was cursed by god with demonic traits such as a very low-pitch, unintelligible voice, black eyes that can see everyone's and everything's soul and an immense amount of knowledge. Cursed even further later on with eternal life and arms that are de-attached from her body later on by defying god.
Weapon: For many years, Pandora attempted to enchant her own arms by using witchcraft and smithing them like normal weapons. They hold a lot of power, but due to Pandora's necessity of moving them around manually, they easily leave her open for attacks.
Other stuff: Because of all of the curses applied onto her, Pandora has since sworn to attack and dethrone god. Forced a human named Meri to give her a home, as every town she's been in has exiled her for being a bringer of bad luck. Wears nothing but cloaks and boots, has enchanted her hat to be used for storaging.
---
Name: Hantu Kopek (stolen name)
Age: Adult (no specific number)
Height: Very Tall (over 2m)
Weight: Average
Gender: Hermaphrodite (mostly ambiguous)
Personality: Hantu's a smug demon from hell, usually tricking humans into fighting each other and teasing others to feed off their negativity. Also lives with a human named Meri, who they deeply like and hate at the same time. Tamed by Pandora.
Story: As a demon must earn its name by killing another demon, Hantu came to earth to steal another demon's name, succesfully doing so but meeting Pandora on their way out. Easily defeated, Hantu's forced to work with her on a future plan to kill god, stealing clothes from Meri in the process.
Weapon: None. Dislikes fighting. Instead, they usually tell Envy to fight for them.
Other stuff: Hantu is capable of shapeshifting from a horrible nightmareish creature onto a human-like one. Since Pandora's aware of Hantu being stupid enough to shapeshift in public, she has since blocked this ability from her by creating an eyepatch that suppresses it.
Lucy & Karakasa:
Reference picture:
Commissioned picture:
(colored by me)
Name: Lucia (but mostly known as Lucy)
Age: 29 (deceased)
Height: Average (around the same as Pride)
Weight: Heavy (but also average)
Gender: Female
Personality: Lucy is a hateful zombie, powered entirely by her own soul and an enchanted heart stored in a bottle. She's renowned as a saint and a hero, despite calling humanity worthless and unnecessary. Despises the royalty, those related to it and Tsukuyomi.
Story: After being wrongly accused of thievery and murder, Tsukuyomi sends her royal guards to take care of Lucy, who's then decapitated, mutilated and impaled. Once the core explodes, Lucy's awoken as a spirit next to her body, following its trail as an old woman takes it all the way to a cave. Afterwards, Lucy swears to eradicate all of what's left of the royalty, doing so four years before the main storyline of the game occurs.
Envy fights Lucy in the main storyline, using her to lure Pride out of the cave.
Weapon: A bronze sword and a ghost umbrella. Despite the sword being completely standard and normal, Lucy has kept this purely out of spite, as this is the weapon that's been used to kill her. The umbrella, on the other hand, is used as protection from both enemies and the rain, as water can be harmful for her.
Other stuff: Her body is completely covered by stitches and wounds from the body parts of different corpses. Her soul can hop in and out of the body at will, turning the body back into a corpse as soon as this happens.
---
Name: Karakasa (also known as Maya)
Age: 11 (deceased)
Height: Small (around 1,45cm)
Weight: Slender
Gender: None (previously Female)
Personality: A joyful and playful karakasa. Loves being around Lucy, Pride, Gluttony and a few other people. Likes to feel the taste of everyone she meets. Usually makes children cry to later make them smile, then cry again.
Story: Taken as an umbrella by Lucy, as there was rain present and a monster was chewing on it. Thankful for being saved, Kara decides to follow her around, becoming her apprentice and bodyguard in the process. The causes of Kara's death are unknown.
Wrath fights Kara in the main storyline, getting in the cave before Envy.
Weapon: A tongue that's as large as her body and a broom. It can't be cut, temporarily growing larger the happier Kara gets. The broom on the other hand, is simply something Kara carries to push people away if they get too close.
Other stuff: Kara's umbrella changes depending on what Kara is wearing (ex: if Kara is wearing a heavy dress, it will turn into a heavier type of umbrella; if Kara is naked, it will turn into a normal karakasa). Unable to pull the tongue back in, forcing Kara to permanently keep it out. Unable to chew. Thanks to being both a ghost and a zombie, Kara is able to face sunlight directly, but also unable to touch water, as it turns Kara back into an umbrella. Has one eye, one ear, one arm and one leg.
Chroma & Alice:
Chroma is @Reiji's OC.
Reference picture(s)
(for Chroma)
(the one I sent)
(for Alice)
Commissioned picture:
(colored by me, somewhat unfinished)
Name: Chroma
Age: 0+20
Height: Average (around 1,60m)
Weight: Thin
Gender: Female
Personality: A smart, shy half-monster human. Despite her kindness and joyful personality, she believes to be horrifying on the inside due to her monster-like traits, refusing to ever open her mouth in public. Refuses to talk through normal means. Alice's best friend. Easily befriended, innocent.
Story: After an incident between Pandora and Meri, Meri starts to get awful nightmares about Pandora's shadow, as she becomes self-aware of its horrible traits. After looking at Pandora in the mirror one last time, a part of Meri's soul is ripped out of her body, said soul being Chroma. From that point onwards, Chroma had no difficulty adapting to the world around her.
Weapon: Chroma does not like to fight. However, she holds great innate power, not having the necessity of using any weapon other than her hands. Can conjure specific objects for self-defense.
Other stuff: In reality, Chroma's real form is very different from the one she's always using. To not scare anyone off however, she's copied Meri's appearance on the outside. Works for Zodiac, with Alice as a crewmate. Since both her and Alice are bound and directly connected to each other, there are times in where Chroma spits out things that Alice eats and can't digest. Always emanating light.
---
Name: Alice
Age: 0+200
Height: Very Small (less than 1,40m)
Weight: Average
Gender: Female
Personality: A (not very) smart, energetic half-human monster. Despite being made out of pure negativity, she is an upbeat and curious person. Always hanging around Chroma, Pride or Meri. Easily afraid of the strange and the unknown, but also easily tameable. Wants to eat Meri.
Story: To prevent Meri's death, Pandora rips out the demonic half of her soul, mixing it with Meri's other half before sending it to the woods. Scared of the real world, Alice remains hostile towards everything she finds, eventually crossing paths with Chroma. Deeply afraid but curious of the light surrounding her, Alice decides to follow her around, learning about the life and actions of other living creatures in the process.
Weapon: The ability to mimic anything, including fighting abilities. While her appearance does not change, she will try her hardest. Really good at fighting in the dark, as she will blend in with the shadows. Transforms into a horrifying monster upon being enraged and overwhelmed with negativity.
Other stuff: Usually looked after by Pride, since her first appearance was in the woods next to her cave. She's a fast learner, but she will not know nor figure out what to do if she's trying to mimic something that's out of her range (ex: while mimicing Chroma, Chroma starts flying). Usually tries to eat anything that's on the ground, unless there is something with a stronger scent around her. Can spit out things she's recently eaten if asked to do so. Doesn't know how to talk, move nor act properly, most of the time behaving like a cat.

Name: Paramont von Celestus (shortened to Paracelsus)
Age: 31
Height: Tall (over 1,70m)
Weight: Average
Gender: Female
Personality: Para is a serious yet playful alchemist doctor. Always trying to come up with a solution to every problem in the world, but also always forgetting about that. Smokes a lot, as cigars cannot harm her. Considers Lilith to be her most important patient and assistant. Immensely smart.
Story: Paracelsus is an alchemist that's once been known as the best doctor of the kingdom. After the core explodes, her body suffers many internal changes, such as an obscured vision and an extreme resistance to fire and poisonous objects. Considered Lilith to be a simple corpse, bringing her to the laboratory before realizing she was actually alive. Afterwards, she focuses on stopping the core's power from being brought back. Plays an important role on Envy's story.
Weapon: Alchemy. Thanks to her resistance to fire and poison, she can use some of the contents of alchemy, as well as some other magic tomes, as weapons. In extreme situations, she powers herself up, lighting her entire body on fire but collapsing from the exhaustion not too long after.
Other stuff: Rarely ever comes out of the laboratory, only doing so to buy food or other items she may need, always being cautious of not showing her eyes. Tries not to smoke around Lilith, as the smoke could be harmful to both her head and body. Always wears gloves, only taking them off to bathe and sleep. Keeps a stack of saltine crackers around in her pockets.

Name: Meri Hun
Age: 28
Height: Average (around 1,56m)

Gender: Female
Personality: A normal human girl. Energetic, usually prefers to stay out of trouble. Likes magic, plants and Pandora. Considers Hantu to be her friend, but also someone to stay away from. Easily embarassed. Most of her friends are either monsters or demons.
Story: Meri plays an important role in many of the characters' stories. She was a normal cleric until the day she met Pandora, learning about magic and spells after being attracted to her knowledge and wisdom. Pandora, tired of having to write things down, permanently bound both of their souls together to read each other's minds.
Weapon: Magic tomes. She's more of a healer than anything.
Other stuff: For mysterious reasons that she can't explain, Meri tends to attract ghosts towards her. Usually hangs out with Envy, Melanie or Paracelsus if she finds some spare time. Deeply terrified of Alice, but constantly worried about Chroma. Lucy's childhood friend.

Zodiac:
Reference picture:
Name: Unknown (nicknamed Zodiac by Wrath)
Age: Unknown
Height: Very Tall (over 1,90m)
Weight: Average
Gender: None
Personality: A strange, horrifying and mysterious specimen. Known to dislike company. Considers Wrath to be their one true enemy. Only eats meat, no matter where it's from. Reproduces asexually.
Story: Zodiac is a living being that's taken out straight from the core. They're the embodiment of thousands of souls and energies from both monsters and humans. Upon fighting Wrath, Zodiac takes a part of their DNA and replicates it, obtaining a physical appearance that's identical to Wrath's. Upon being defeated, however, Zodiac is forced to become a second king next to Wrath. Plays an important role on Chroma's story.
Weapon: Anything and everything. Highly unstable in combat.
Other stuff: Zodiac can create children made out of the things it's consumed. Neither Zodiac nor any of its children can feel any sort of affection or closeness to any living being, easily becoming a problem if left unattended. However, some children may be born 'defectuous', which make them more distinct from others. If killed, Zodiac will create another copy of itself, only losing its memories in the process.
Overall, I really like what I've come up with so far and I wish to move further with it at some point. Sure, it'd be a lot of work, but I'd probably want to have some help or... save up to hire someone, I guess. It all started really long ago, so I can't really back down no matter what I do.
If you've not read any of it, that's fine, I won't force you to. I just wanted to share some of the things that usually plague my mind and talk about to @Reiji like... every day. He's helped me a lot with this, and a lot of the time I'm usually afraid of feedback (but it's not like I get that much of it anyway, so).
Again, it's all just characters and story for now, all of what's meant to be the 'gameplay' is... unfortunately, only some words that've been written down.
Working on both the story and characters of this and my visual novel often turns out to be pretty difficult, honestly.
If you did read through all or even some of it, thank you. I appreciate it, even if you don't say anything at all.
Eventually, I'll write some things down about my visual novel too, since that's something I'm really proud of.
this took ages to write and i'm still anxious
Showing my OCs always feels stressful for some reason, so I hope you liked any of them.
