Honestly, an argument quarantine zone is probably the best way to handle it. Similar to controversial but specifically when two people want to go at each other. That way you don't have normal discussions turning into pointless fights.

this is what the salt mines are (not just a ban zone, but a place to put any unruly conversation into so it plays out in its own zone rules or not) but we seem to not use them enough for this purpose

anyways. i agree with those that have talked about how leaving or going KG only is not the solution. zelma managed to resolve a longstanding beef with a good thread on the forums about it, i think that sort of solution is very valid too. i'd like it if that got promoted more, like "go make a thread in the PPP about this" and if that's refused, salt mine time.

also agree with more heavily enforcing the etiquette rule on drive-by comments. those don't help much

yeah it's an interesting problem. very easy to ignore a thread but when all the activity is in a certain channel it's like it's inviting you to jump in and that isn't really healthy for real time convos. Much easier to manage on a forum.

I think everyone's in multiple servers with the same people at this point too so its kinda silly. People are always mentioning their offshoot servers and even we're in one together lol

Honestly with how thin skinned some of you are, MW is basically a troll's paradise. I literally started some kind of shitstorm the other day completely by accident lol. We've had a couple members leave[though, not entirely because of the past couple weeks].
Tensions are a little high probably due to stress, anxiety, pandemic etc.
This is probably a great time to reset our attitudes, reflect and just try to be better people going forward.
A lot of us have known each other for a long time so it's cool to bullshit, joke around and have fun but once it gets too far we have to hold each other accountable and stop it.
Same applies to beef; we don't have to all get along or even interact with each other but there has to be a certain level of respect and in the spirit of that I just have to say that furry porn is almost always terrible.
I like Cream's mom because she receives high quality artwork and as a whole it's far more consistent than say Amy porn where I could see her one minute busting it wide open for SONIC THE HEDGEHOG and taking a dump in the middle of chao garden the next. I wouldn't personally abolish furries entirely from the internet but I would hold furry shit to a higher standard than other porn simply because some of the shit gets way too fucking wild, same goes for anything else that isn't directly in line with my fetishes or cream's mom.
