actually if you think about it, both god and aliens must exist
if there was no god, aliens would be able to come to earth freely and invite us to the interplanetary alliance. god keeps other sentient beings away from his creation since he has no control over them.
not sure if they are a monarchy though. intelligent life could succeed under almost any political system, except communism.
