I don't know if we ever checked the area around the barrel, only the barrel itself. Is there anything weird at the end of the canal?

Jessica
Following up on that, is there anything weird at the start of the canal?

Anything weird in the Livestock Corral?

You check these. At the start of the canal are a few marks on the east bank.

Nothing is weird at the end of the canal, or in the Livestock Corral.

What do these marks look like?

Do they lead anywhere?

They look like the track of something very wide. They lead a bit to the east of the bank, and then vanish. It seems like the vanishing is more due to the ground no longer retaining them than anything else.

If you roll a barrel on its side, does it match the width of the tracks?

Same with any other configuration of barrel if that doesn't work, I guess...

You do a barrel roll.

The track produced is pretty much a direct match for the one you're currently studying.

Elden Ring

hello. my name is elden ring. please play game of the year 2022, elden ring. you can play it on stuff like your pc, ps5, xbox one, or switch 2. you can also play dlc and spinoffs like shadow of the erdtree. so go play it today. thank you, from elden ring. anyway, i'm here not just to talk about elden ring, but also because i've traveled the world looking for my cousin, dark souls ii. they took a trip to japan years ago to promote dark souls ii, but we haven't heard from them since. it's a shame. they were very odd, but they were a good video game

i see you lost your mayor. my condolences. i wonder if he would have liked elden ring. although i did not know him, i will tell you what happened last night in case it will help. i arrived at the graveyard, and found what i assumed were the belongings of some recent victim, just lying on the ground. i picked them up, but i noticed the guns were busted, so i grabbed some new ones from the gun store. i then took the lift down to the purple basement. however, as i was exiting, i suddenly had the feeling that something happened with the lift that recently helped result in the death of a fan of elden ring. i cannot let that slide, so i threw the grenades i found at the controls to prevent this from happening again. with that taken care of, i grabbed some gasoline down here, then made my way to general store to grab a lighter. as i was preparing to leave, i heard a loud train whistle

after this, i went over to blue and met army helmet (Hollywood Bowl) in the lobby. i encouraged him to fight, to kill. murder something. however, i think i just confused him, so i left. i went to saloon for a bit, where i shot out some windows in front of beret (Akira). they annoyed me. i also grabbed a knife here, then i went over to chapel for a bit to prepare to fight god. i had some rope and a jar full of bees, so i used it to rig a trap. however, he was not here yet, so i left for now

i went over to carpentry, where i grabbed a bunch of wood and began arranging it in the image of the most beautiful thing in the world: the boxart of my game, elden ring. i then lit it ablaze to make the elden ring boxart out of fire. it was very beautiful. however, it also resulted in the entire room burning down pretty much immediately. oh well. as i stayed for awhile to admire my handiwork, fez (Ace Ventura) showed up, followed by sunhat (Partitio), followed by beret (Akira) and cowboy (Jessica) together. all of them just turned around and left, with the exception of Jessica who i guess missed hell because she just walked right through the fire to get to her dorm

once i was satisfied, i headed back to the chapel, and NOW it was time. Atua was here, with a broken horn and the most hideous sombrero i have ever seen. i got the jump on him and struck the first blow, dropping the jar of bees directly on his head. and i was prepared to continue the fight for as long as it took. i am elden ring, and i am unstoppable. atua made the next move, charging at me with his remaining horn, an-

Well. This night was relatively less exciting than the previous one, but I made sure to document everything regardless. Who knows what could be the key?

I woke up in my dorm, and exited through Newspaper. Considering the previous night, even with the hats active, I wanted to avoid anything overly blatant tonight. Heading to the Executive Office, I went through the Lobby to the Movie Theater, where I investigated the code again. I know where it goes already, but perhaps by investigating the existing codes, we can determine the last one. I feel like it'll be very useful to us if we can find the way past the last gate.

Exiting, I encountered Cowboy Hat, or as she apparently was, Jessica. She's already spoken of her scheme - she convinced me she was Roland, and we went together to the Green Building, passing by Bowler Hat in the Vault. In the Crimson Eye Laboratory, we encountered the trio of Fedora, Top Hat, and Russian Hat, leading to the battle that was already described. After that, I accompanied Top Hat - the original Roland, apparently - on his experiment. It went well enough, and we spent some time going over the Yellow Basement together, during which we found Sombrero attempting to overheat the servers by removing coolant.

When we were done, I headed to the Orange Basement, and went to the Mineshaft. I spent the rest of the night attempting to find if there was any valuable information or a remaining code in the Mine, but I found no more than the musty bodies we already knew about.

i think i have some volunteers for this check so i'd like to position kroos at the doorway between the liturgic equipment room and the liturgic testing range while i roll a remaining intact pickle barrel from the general store over to the vault and dump it on the floor =to judge what it sounds like and if it sounds similar to what kroos heard during the night
lets also put one person somewhere upstairs in green and one on the street out in fron of the chapel for sounds tests for good measure

You roll the pickle barrel and dump it on the floor, just right out there. It sure is dumping a pickle barrel.

...Y'know, there's a lot I'm willing to do to get the job done, but this humiliation is going a bit far, don't you think? Hah... whatever, let's get this over with.

I'm gonna get myself wet and flop around on what remains of the General Store floor. Kroos can uh... do one of those memory check things. Does it sound right?

You drop on the deck and flop like a fish.

Can I find any evidence of bees in the Mayor's Office?
#115
Jessica
Are there any notes or other things out of place in the Executive Office?

Can we have Elden Ring drink or taste a bit of the water from Bud's lungs to discern if it's poisonous in some way?

Take another look at Bud's eyes and skin. Do they look irritated at all besides his general...discoloration?

Also, I'll volunteer to dump a barrel of pickles onto myself as Kroos listens from where she heard the...meaty glopping. I'd like her to check if it sounds closer than the pickles merely dropping onto the floor.

You find a note. It tells Hollywood Bowl that Ranger and Marty aren't planning to do any filming tonight, on account of the hats.

You have Elden Ring drink some of the lung water. They look queasy - whatever's discolored the water is definitely not good for the system.

Bud's eyes look bloodshot and irritated, as if something was in them. You can't tell what, though.

You do this. Kroos is required to memcheck.

I've already spoken about what I did, but to get it down, let's explain from the beginning. I left my dorm through the Army Post and went down the west side - I did see Bud there, but he was just working on his bees. Maybe I should help protect them after this... I went over to the Red Building. Started by grabbing a few materials from Station Storage, then rigged a trap up in the Passenger Lounge so I didn't have to worry about that motive.

It's not that I don't trust you guys with the thing that kills me, but I don't trust you guys with the thing that kills me.

That took me a while, and once that was done I went to the Saloon to relax, unwind, and maybe drown my sorrows. During that, Beret came in, and she joined me to drink together. Misery drinking loves company, huh? We shot the shit for a while, and Sun Hat came in and went upstairs. Eventually, though, I wanted to see if I could film something, so I walked over to the Lobby. Got accosted by Tricorn, which was weird. They left, and I checked out the Archives for a while. I've been over them a bunch, but now I'm trying to figure out if they talk about Atua at all. Maybe there's a clue in there about him.

Went upstairs after that. Fedora was there, and he roped me into filming. Hey, he's got some good ideas! Might have to follow up after all this. During that filming, we also got Witch Hat in on it. Good stuff. After that, Witch Hat performed some music in Recording... it sounds kind of familiar. I think it's Darude Sandstorm. Anyway. I took that with Fedora, and did some editing for the rest of my night, before I went back to bed.

Check the barbershop and see if anything is missing or out of place. Especially focus on missing barbicide but I'll take whatever.

So it IS poison, huh? Well, poison-adjacent... Close enough.

Let's check the Barber. Any of that disinfectant stuff missing? Pretty sure that's blue... How's it compare to Bud's lung juice?
