It looks like if you crushed up cochineal beetles, you could make a dye that's close enough to be a match.

Looks like you could find them in plants anywhere off the edge of the map. Especially east, but there could be some found to the north and the south.

There are some beetles missing to a notable degree on the east side of the map, right across from the middle of Orange.

The flowers are a little north of the missing bugs.

You can't tell without having examined those bugs on a previous night.

Cochineal dye with the binders you have tried is functionally a match. You believe that it would take you a bit more experimenting to confirm the correct binder, but you are satisfied that cochineal beetles are the source of the pigment.

You can't see McJango's camera at all, actually. It seems like if the camera is there, it is disguised in some way.
