there seems to be ways to trick it into working. one technique is to press one of the message icons that has a drop down like attach link, and then touch the main body box. sometimes tapping works but i can't figure out how to do it reliably.

On mobile we might want to just disable the myriad of shit that appears at the bottom of threads, or at least hide them behind a toggle. Looks pretty cluttered around there. It's generally very nice though!
