i am pretty sure i have this figured out

my current theory:
we know shadow and me were KO'd before the fusion dance
and we know elyk was wandering the halls and entered several rooms at that time (he admits to entering shadow's room even)
and we know elyk KO'd at least one other person [brainwyrms] during that time
so it stands to reason that elyk had time and ability to KO shadow, drag him into my room, KO me and do the fusion dance early in the night
there's also motive because shadow stole his kredit kard

Dude is lowered slowly towards a vat of boiling butter, suspended by a rope around his waist.

Heavy metal music blasts in the background as he is lowered in. The screaming only stops at around the same time the sizzling does.
