I figure any non-official Touhou work has gotta be a doujin right so here's like the only touhou media I know anything about.
I don't know fuck all about Touhou but it's pretty neat I guess. I don't think I can handle the games (I played a bit of the 6th one years ago and it wasn't my thing). It seems to be a pretty cool universe with fun characters.
Here's the Official Summary:
It's: accurate. That's what it's about. I think it's a pretty decent work. It's not pornographic (tho i guess you can jerk off to anything these days). It's got some good scenarios in it, most notable is the time Reimu goes to the Real World with Yukari on a date, or that time Reimu fuckin Suffers with hunger. It's 21 chapters and all the chapters are of a decent size. One of the coolest things about archive of our own is you can export to epub, so I was able to read this on my ereader- the future is here!
I can't say I've read too much fanfiction but if there's stuff with quality levels like this I can get behind it. It even manages to have an original character that doesn't steal the show- they're there and they have a good reason for being there and aren't any more important than they need to be.
Give it a try if you're into Reading. If you hate reading and/or touhou though you can do something else like check out the communities I've been sharing
