PART 6: HOW DO YOU EVEN COME UP WITH SHIT THIS ASININE, PART II

Last time I described Carol's ass-backwards plan that needed a million things to go right for it to work, but actually that wasn't all she needed for it to come to fruition. Despite having hundreds of years to prep this shit she really couldn't come up with something that wouldn't fall apart if someone turned on their brain for five fucking seconds? Oh wait, I guess she never really turned hers on either, because get a load of the next piece of the puzzle:

You'll never lose a remote again.

So Carol can't even fucking turn on her own stupid world destructor machine or whatever the fuck without this thing. Great plan dipshit, why didn't you build a fucking on switch? You made the damn thing it's not like you don't understand something as basic as TURNING IT ON. Is Carol one of those fuckos who doesn't look at the manual to figure out how to connect her motherboard's pins and then bitches on the internet about how hard building a rig is because of it? Whatever. So she breaks into this underwater relic containment facility that has never been alluded to before now in order to get it and the Symphogears are sent to stop her, and... actually completely succeed. Wow, okay then.

TOP 10 ANIME DEATHS.

This, of course, causes Carol's plan to utterly crumble in an instant, as she prepared absolutely no backup for such an event. Thus, on its 10th episode, GX finally ends, utterly pointl--hahaha nah. Because everything needs to play out according to what the villain wants, right after destroying the thing Carol desperately needed, Chris decides to finish her off with a bunch of rockets. That she unleashes in a fragile underwater storage facility. Full of priceless artifacts. While she's still inside it herself. SMART AS FUCK.

You sure don't act like it either!

While this somehow DOESN'T cause the entire place to collapse, she manages to blow up the wall behind Carol with one of her many rockets, exposing one of the relic-sealing rooms. And what just so happens to be behind it except for...

Doctor Ver!

The antagonist from the PREVIOUS SEASON! That's right. Not only did the stars align so hard that Carol's Ignite plan went off without a hitch up to this point, but one of the heroes' random shots let a locked up villain who just so happened to be there because his arm is part relic due to the events of G. (Actually the previous season showed his arm reverting to complete normal after he altered it and he needed a special variety of LiNKER to get it to go like that in the first place, so it having permanently altered itself is inconsistent and invented entirely so they could pull this. Great writing!) Anyways, so he stops Chris's attack which was about to fucking kill the SHIT out of Carol and end this awful show and helps her escape.

Symphogear GX summarized in one image.

While they're running from the heroes, Carol thinks this is the best possible time to phone up the fucking government base and mock them for being such fools for falling into her master plan. She describes how Elfnein was guided by her from the very beginning and how she's been spying on everything the heroes have been doing the whole time! Oh no! Meanwhile, the green Autoscorer is ranting elsewhere about how the Ignite system was masterful genius and everyone played into it, but the comms are jammed so the heroes present to hear this speech can't contact HQ about it! No one puts 2+2 together though and thus Chris is left without the heads up not to use Ignite to kill the Autoscorer in front of her, because actually Carol and her other doll decided to gloat about the whole thing BEFORE THE PLAN HAD EVEN REALLY BEEN FULLY PLAYED INTO. Good thing that didn't backfire at fucking all! God damn.

We didn't need to know that, Carol.

After this beautiful bout of writing by the series creators that rivals the intelligence behind Carol's plan itself, Carol is able to betray Ver after he uses his TV remote hand to turn on her microwave and she knocks him seemingly to his death, after which he's actually totally fine and gets on the heroes' side for some reason. Then your usual action show climax plays out and yadda yadda yadda plot gets foiled. I'm glad this convoluted mess lasted a whole 13 episodes.

Motivations...?

Now, you may have noticed that even Carol, the antagonist, has her dad as her major motivation! Gee, that sure is funny. It would be weird if there were even more dads involved... wait a minute.
