Illumination definitely wasn't my top pick for this but I'll probably enjoy it nonetheless. Like shit, just slap Mario on something weird and I'm down for it.

Unfortunately the fact that it's being made by Illumination means it'll be an annoying cash grab

The level of annoyingness depends on exactly how much creative control Illumination is given; I never thought I'd say this, but hopefully Miyamoto grabs this project by the balls and forces it to be as classic-Marioey as possible
