"Good to see you. I'm Hollywood Bowl, famous movie producer and director. You've probably watched a few of my films, even if you don't know it. Remember when The Final Flush took the film world by storm? Yeah, that one was me. And then Bathroom With a View, the critics and audiences both raving over that one. I've got a major flick in the works. Something I've been planning for years, refining the idea and making sure I had the clout to pull my weight.
This isn't that. I've gotta keep the lights on while I finish negotiating to get my new film underway, and some woman wanted me to produce her new Wild West flick. She got in contact with a guy who owns a film set in an old town in Arizona, they brought along a few crew members, and we're gonna make this happen. Yeehaw, pardner.
But we need a cast, and that includes extras. Running the numbers, I think we'll make do with... twenty-seven. That's the right number for this film. You guys will act, major or minor, pitch in with the crew stuff, and help make a Western. Then you all go home. Simple, right?
So. What are you waiting for? We've got a movie to make."

Welcome to the third Superchao-hosted Minus World Killing Game, which I will call 9.Cowboy for the archives and Wild West KG in basically all other circumstances! The basic gameplay loop remains unchanged. Each night, you submit your actions for that night, and attempt to kill someone else. At day, a body is discovered and people investigate, ending with a vote that leads to the execution of whoever was voted for, regardless of their status.
A few things I wanna mention!
-This game definitely has Lore. I would say it's comparable to about KG6 or KG7 in their lore levels. Don't expect the many assets and narratives of KG8 or KG9, but do expect secrets, NPC arcs, and mysterious new places to find.
-The Wraith system from KG9 will come back! However, I'm streamlining it. There's no increased powers over time or chances to revive from it; just that every day from 3 onwards you can vote to revive 1 ghost, and they will hang around, observe, and get results.
-NPCs are capable of killing should it be necessary (read: no workable attempts), like in Kitchen KG. They may also attempt in response to things such as motives or character interactions.
-Day Motives will now be revealed when the trial goes up on the second day of the 48 hour phases. I'm aiming to see if this provides a kick in the ass during mid-investigation doldrums. Night Motives will be posted immediately in night threads, as per usual.
-As in KG9, a team of 1 murderer/1 accomplice is valid, but if the murderer is correctly lynched, the accomplice will be jailed for the night. This delays their night start, and gives them the Jailbird status for the night, increasing their chance of death relative to anyone else. Teamups of 3 or more for cases will be invalidated and their attempts will be ignored.
-I'm aiming for a pretty rigid "every other weekend" schedule for day phases, so I'll be pretty harsh about action submission deadlines this game! If you're planning to keep me waiting for a week, Don't.
