Gotta hand it to you, Bud, you've shown you got grit and soul in equal measure. Goin' out o' your way to make friends and to care for the little folk, why, that makes you good folk, and good folk make good leaders. It ain't in me to lie, I was none too pleased the part you played in Neil's death. But, ah, I couldn't go holdin' it against you too much in these conditions. Cascabela, you're one fine lady, a shinin' gem pulled from the desert sands, and it weighs heavy on me to go 'n' do this, but I ain't seein' the alternative.

I mean...Vote: Ranger

...I was really hoping it wouldn't be you. There's not that many people I can trust left anymore, and you were one of the few - at least for a time. But the way I see it, I can't justify sentencing Ranger to death for a crime that requires way too many assumptions to put him at the scene with the opportunity.

He would've had to get underground unseen, get the knife unseen, and... well, he'd have to do everything else without anyone seeing anything except for a couple trips to the general store. Call it intuition, call it my gut... but it doesn't sit right with me.



You on the other hand... You're everywhere you need to be. Right by the knife, right by the knife's final resting place - and all around every inch of that purple building. If you dumped those onions early, you've got a nice big gap of time you could've done it too - right under Bud's nose.
