Welp apparently Discord actually killed being able to do this a while back, so having read outdated results on the matter made me believe this was possible. The Widget option Discord has is really misleading too, it's only a list of who's online even if you pick a specific channel. Oh well, I just slapped an invite link in there instead.

Someone -is- working on a MyBB Discord plugin but it isn't released yet.
