Ahhh, if I can't buy a gun, I'll certainly take advantage of the samples! Free is free, after all.

I'd like to point my gun at the wall, and unload several clips from varying distances, up to and including from the Fountain room.

In between changing positions, I think I'll check the wall to see which distance best matches the bullet spread on the corpse. Once I've found a match, I'll stop, of course.

Which gun would you like to test out?

Clearly the Colt Single Action Army. Apparently six shots is more than enough to kill anything that moves, so surely it'll work for this purpose.

For the sake of not having any bullets bounce off the wall and drill inside your body, some BALLISTIC GEL has been installed by the REC ROOM's back wall.

You unload six shots in the gel from the entrance. All of them seem to have drilled into the gel by quite a lot.

From the end of the corridor, near the FOUNTAIN, you unload another six shots. You kind of miss the last one by a lot, having it ricochet off the door frame, but still into the gel. The bullet seems to have a similar bump than those other two ones found in the scene.

From BEHIND the fountain, you shoot another six shots. The bullets cross the water. The bullets have landed in the gel, without even a bit of a downwards angle.

By the way, the bullet holes in the wall don't seem to be deep enough to lodge any bullets. At least, you don't find any bullets lodged in it.

Well then, this clears something up.

Here's a theory, and this one's free: Steve Austin, Ainsley, and a mysterious third person were by the fountain. Considering the bullets match the ones shot from that area, I think we can safely suspect any one of them, as they were all there before I passed them and found the body.

I head to the 2f bedrooms, spotting moneybags taking the escalator down and bain taking it up as I go
I enter all the rooms and leave my gifts
travis and kamina are asleep in their rooms when I enter them, the rest are void of people
kamina's dog is extra special, y'know
bain is in the hallway as I'm doing this so I opt to hand theirs to them directly, rather than leave it in the room

at one point travis wakes, I see him checking out the mmo shop, and then we both try to make our way down the escalator, steve austin is going up at this time

I head towards the rec room, passing cardgage on the way
moneybags is here, trying to get people to pay to enter, the body of our dear couch delivery man is inside
I head towards the staircase and see that the other entrance to the recroom is closed off
I enter the casino and gamble the remainder of my bux away, I lose

I head towards my bedroom and take the opportunity to give out the remainder of my gifts
harold, drei, ainsley, and moneybags are already asleep as I deliver their presents, while sytefreek is heading to bed

I'm curious about the leisure room breeze, I forgot to note this in my account but I experienced similar in one of the bedrooms I entered during the night
@Pea can we inspect some of the shop items to try to figure this out? Does the Bow of Seven Winds leave behind a breeze in the location it is fired from after it has been fired? or could some kind of combination of the runes and staff have left this phenomenon
actually thinking about that question some more, is there a public list of all runes available?

You pick up a sample bow and fire it right next to KAMINA's back. He feels something, but it's definitely not a "breeze". Something more related to an arrow passing by someone.

You then look at the runes and the staff, trying to conjure something... do you know any spells? I sure don't.

You shoot at the wall. The bullet RICOCHETS back at you, missing you by inches. Does someone smell chili or is it just me?

No gunshot residue. However, a very small puddle can be seen by the northern part of the fountain, in the shape of a line.

COUCH DELIVERY MAN's corpse is pretty much lacking a lot of blood, evidently from the puddle of blood at the REC ROOM.

Seems that there are EIGHT bullet holes in him, all angled upwards or downwards. TWO of those holes go from his front to his back, two of them from the front. the rest are from his back.

Part of his hair is burnt out.

I suppose I'll allow them to take a couple puffs on my Despair Vape.

KIRA takes a puff from the despair vape. He immediately chokes it out, complaining about the taste of piss.

A spirit arises, crawling across the floor as the sealing spell attempts to pull it back in.

Aaargh! I woke and was feeling the seal - finally - weaken! It is a struggle to stay out of it and I quickly become exhausted.

Harold had a weird pillowcase and headed for the eastern corridors.

I head upstairs and to my shop to check my wares and stock, as well as avoid any issues with the delivery bot myself. So that I am not seen, I make my move there and back sneakily. During my sneaking, I contemplate just jumping down into the fountain.

Unfortunately for someone, I witness them place their gun in a hiding place.

I head over to the stairs down as I'm worried about breaking my neck on the fountain and pass out on Ainsley's shoulders.

Something terrible happens as Steven Austin tries to drown my unconscious self. Moneybags enters and I hazily leave Austin's grips. He does some fuckery at the fountain base and leave with Ainsley.

My couch has been delivered.

Now, you might be wondering what I saw? What sort of explicit information do I own? Well, it turns out you don't have much a view except practically into the fountain, and it just so happens to have been spraying a distorting enough water bath upwards, along with my angle, all I could make out was a figure fumbling with several objects, including something shiny being attached to something else and encased all together from the actions and my further, private recollection.

Well, Ainsley was the only one there. Ainsley had a copious amount of meat. I believe he hid his gun in his meat and fired it off while he was "eating" his samples.

can we inspect the groupings of the shots in the victim and compare it to sample shots taken at various distances? say shot from different points such as from the fountain, and from the south stairs past the fountain

I want to test to see if someone sitting in/near the fountain would notice a shot from a SAA equipped with a silencer/whatever shot from the south stairs into the rec room
