Main Elevator - An elevator that takes you downstairs to the Underground Facility. It is fairly spacious, likely to aid in the transport of anomalies.

Lobby - The Central Facility's check-in lobby. Flanked by two staircases, the check-in desk sits abandoned, though it contains office supplies and some files. There are a variety of places to sit down as well. There is a vault door open behind the front desk, housing an Anomaly Containment Room.

Meeting Room - A small boardroom, with a long table, a couple chairs, and a laptop connected to a projector.

Checkpoint - A security checkpoint with a metal scanner, requiring you to walk through if you enter or exit.

Liturgical Study - A laboratory dedicated to the study of religion and so-called miracles. Contains a variety of religious texts from around the world, as well as religious symbols such as crosses, prayer beads, and small statues.

Chapel - A non-denominational chapel for whatever you wish to pray to. An altar sits at the end of the room, and pews line the sides of a central aisle. A small bowl containing nonspecific holy water is planted firmly in the middle. It is currently bloody, and graffiti is on the wall.

Patio - A patio overlooking the Black Forest. You can climb down to explore from here, but the forest is easy to get lost in.

Black Forest - A forest infamous for stories of lost researchers and strange occurrences. A few landmarks inside have been identified and categorized, but it remains difficult to locate them again. Enter at your own risk.

Boiler Room - A room with an old boiler, as well as a supply of cleaning supplies and maintenance tools. While the boiler is out of use now that modern systems are in place, it can burn hot enough to start fires.

Sleep Lab - A room with three beds and some monitoring equipment. Seems like it is intended for monitoring dreams. Also seems like a comfy place to sleep.

Whisper Valley Archives - A room housing a variety of files and leftover items from the Whisper Valley Historical Society. They are very well organized, and can be easily found with a reference number. You can look for a random file too, but don’t expect much.

Classified Files - A smaller offshoot of the Whisper Valley Archives, with a higher level required to access. Contains more files, somewhat stranger ones too.

Museum Hall - A hallway containing many old objects and displays. The most notable being an anomalous pipe, but other cases and pedestals contain everything from ancient texts to masks.

Gate #1 - A security gate by the front entrance, containing a few CCTV feeds and a locked cabinet. Not much else of use.

Gate #2 - A security gate by the tunnel leading underground. Contains what appears to be a variety of emergency equipment.

Fountain - A fountain just outside the back of the building. Water is currently flowing, though the fountain appears pretty old.

River - A trench dug from Mirror Lake to the Mines, carrying a steady stream of water into the depths.

Arboretum - A large greenhouse, the interior wrapped in thorny vines. Housing a variety of plant-based experiments, low-risk anomalies, and regular plants, you can find most known botanical life here, though maybe it's possible to find some… unique specimens as well?

Climate Controls - A control panel used to manipulate the climate in the Arboretum, including heat, water level, and the dispensing of pesticides and herbicides.

Botany Lab - A laboratory dedicated to the study and breeding of plant life. Contains a variety of equipment, soil, fertilizers, and gardening tools. Maybe you can grow your own plants?

Black Forest - A forest infamous for stories of lost researchers and strange occurrences. A few landmarks inside have been identified and categorized, but it remains difficult to locate them again. Enter at your own risk.

Waiting Room - A relatively uninteresting room with a front desk and some seating. Probably contains office supplies and a couple magazines.

Decontamination - A room that releases a gas that instantly cleans your body and equipment. It logs its usage for the night however, to prevent any shenanigans.

Cafeteria - A completely unremarkable Cafeteria, the sort of thing that you probably could go without a detailed description of.

Chem Lab - A laboratory with a variety of chemicals and equipment with which to use them. A door sits off to the side, requiring Access Level 4. It is covered in radiation warning stickers.

Aux. Bathrooms - A set of unisex bathrooms for the Auxiliary Building. Sinks and toilets, what else do you need?

Archaeologist's Office - An laboratory belonging to the Archaeological Team. Its walls and desks are lined with a variety of strange artifacts you don't recognize, and shelves contain various historical books and research notes. The desk belonging to the team leader is locked.

Observatory - An observatory located a short distance up the mountain. Its oversized telescope points skyward, and several notes and charts regarding celestial bodies and phenomena sit scattered about.

Somatic Seal - A large, deactivated machine.

Geology Lab - A laboratory dedicated to the study of stone samples and the composition of the nearby earth. Contains drills, chisels, picks, and other means of examining stone. Lots of rocks too.

Boathouse - A quaint, old boathouse by the dock. It contains fuel, rafts, books, paper, and other boating and emergency supplies.

Mirror Lake - A lake to the northwest of the facility, accompanied by a boathouse and a small dock. The lake is known for its still, reflective waters, immense depth, and reports of something moving in the water, despite the fact that there are no fish in mirror lake.

Lighthouse - A lighthouse on the island in Mirror Lake. Inside is a variety of sailing and rain gear, as well as a lighthouse lamp capable of cutting through fog like a knife. There's also an Anomaly Containment Room in here, housing a diving suit. A nearby building housing an elevator leads to the Aquatic Lab.

Receiving Bay - The room where new Anomalies are delivered to the facility. Connects to the upper levels via a road tunnel, but it's a bit of a walk

Lab Passage - A small passage between rooms, with some seating and tables. There’s not much going on here and you get the sense that it's just a transitory room.

Morgue - A morgue containing several cadavers in various states and an autopsy table, along with several tools for medical analysis and dissection.

Killing Game Lab - A laboratory dedicated to researching the link between Killing Games and anomalous phenomena. All the files are gone.

Anomaly Lab - A laboratory dedicated to studying anomalies. Contains some monitoring equipment, computers, and several containment cells. Covered in black liquid. Liz's corpse is missing.

Dispatch - A room where dispatchers use a variety of equipment to communicate with other agents. You can use the intercom here to remotely make an announcement to other rooms.

Counter-Terrorism - A department dedicated to combating the Crimson Eye, an evil criminal organization opposing the Bureau. You can find materials and information regarding the Crimson Eye here, as well as some recovered technology. It is currently in disarray, with Ruby's body in here.

Bathrooms - It’s a bathroom. Feel free to use the toilet. No notes.

Armory - A room filled with lethal weaponry, such as guns, energy weapons, and explosives. Access is largely restricted to higher ranking agents.

Holding Cell - A relatively low-security containment room to hold troublemakers or the occasionally possessed until they calm down. Anyone who assisted in a murder or caused too much damage will end up here temporarily.

Facility Jail - A room for the guard assigned to the Holding Cell to spend their time in. There’s a desk and an evidence locker, though the latter is locked.

Anomaly Records - A room where the Bureau keeps its physical copies of records in case of problems with the facility database. Requires high access and the BPI-XXXX number of the anomaly to properly search.

Control Department - The workplace of the team assigned to contain and control Anomalies. Contains a couple weapons, and many notes on Anomaly strengths and weaknesses.

Break Room - A room with some tables and chairs for staff on break. Also contains a small kitchen with cutlery, a toaster oven, a microwave, a coffee machine, a kettle, and a sink.

Leisure Center - A gymnasium meant for keeping agents both in shape and entertained. Contains a variety of workout equipment, sporting goods, and even a pool. Gus' body is sitting on the workout bench, bloody and burned.

Locker Room - A room for employees to store their belongings. All the lockers are unlocked besides 3, which are locked with combination locks.

Crusher - A large crushing device capable of pulverizing rock. It pounds up and down rhythmically, though too quickly to safely get through. It is currently not functional due to water damage, and the Telluric Seal lies behind it.

Explosive Storage - A large cavern housing a variety of old explosives. A rope dangles through a hole in the ceiling, leading to an area near the Observatory.The room is full of knee-deep water, thanks to a certain someone and their river. The explosives are largely waterlogged.

Crystal Cave - A large cavern containing a large number of luminescent crystals and some far more modern research and excavation gear. The crystals are said to contain Esotera. The room is full of knee-deep water, thanks to a certain someone and their river.

Aquatic Lab - An underwater laboratory with several windows looking out onto the lakebed. Much of this room has been utterly destroyed in the fire.

Station 3 - A Shuttle station nearly identical to Stations 1 and 2. The Shuttle is currently operational, and can be taken to any other shuttle station.

Esotera Lab - A strange laboratory full of unknown equipment, various masks, and plenty of obscure files. Appears to be related to the study of Esotera, whatever that entails.

Lab Zero - A room filled with surgical tables and strange equipment, as well as a variety of masks. A strange creature lurks within, chanting religiously.

Water Filtration - A sizeable mechanical room that appears to pump water from the nearby lake for an unknown purpose.

Mining Equipment - A room stocked with a variety of modern excavation equipment of a much heavier-duty variety than the Geology Lab, as well as modern explosive devices.

Drafting Office - An offshoot of the Mining Equipment seemingly converted into an office for engineering and drafting blueprints. Contains a CNC Machine, which can be used to create metal objects from raw materials.

Residential District - A strange sector of the underground city, seemingly a residential district of some sorts. Contains several ancient dwellings and many mummified bodies. A few Bureau research stations have been set up down here for

Lost City Outpost - A large hall between the two segments of the city. There are a few places to sit in here, and an elevator at the southern end of the hall. It looks to be a bit of a rest stop for researchers working in the city.

Occultic Seal - A tower containing an ominous, broken seal chamber.

Chaotic Seal - A large room ending with a huge, sealed stone door. It is unresponsive to all forms of contact and will not open. The mechanism in the center appears to be missing at least one Seal input.

Communications - A room with a sizeable communications terminal. Appears to require an uplink with the "forest relay station" to function.

You investigate Alan's body and the greater room. It is suffering from more than the usual decomposition, likely because... it is REALLY hot and muggy and in here, god damn. His throat has been slashed by some manner of blade, and there is a wound on his head as well. He has some minor head bruises, and his right arm appears to have some strange burns on it.

Additionally, there is vomit on the Arboretum floor and a trail of blood leading into the Climate Controls. It doesn't look like there's much else going on in the Arboretum beyond that though.

Soth-Soth... Riki still feel useless, but not afraid anymore. Hastur find truth, no matter what...

- I wake up in my house in the Lost City.
- I head outside and go to the Lost City Outpost where I check out the computers. I find an IRC log and print it out.
- A gorilla walks in from the laser hallway. It gives me a thumbs up and says "YEAH". It heads toward the Occultic Seal. Riki enters from the Occultic Seal.
- I leave and go to Mining Equipment.
- I grab C4 and a jackhammer.
- On my way back out somebody jumps out at me from the shadows. I parry them, steal the shovel, and smack them in the head. However, they are unaffected because of their hard hat. They are also wearing coveralls, a dust mask, and safety goggles. They flee out toward the elevator.
- I enter the Drafting Office. Somebody is using the CNC machine to print out a pipe. I grab a compass.
- On my way back to the chasm I encounter Gus in the mine shaft. I try to stab him in the neck with my compass but he grabs me by the arm and tosses me into a wall.
- I get back up and continue to the Chaotic Seal.
- I try to get through the stone door using the jackhammer but fail. There is some sort of magical barrier.
- Next I try setting up the C4. I run back out to the bridge and detonate. It blows up everything BUT the stone door.
- I return back to my house. Along the way I see another gorilla, this one shorter than the gorilla I saw previously.
- The corpse that helped me perform my excavator jump has returned and is hanging out inside.
- I go to sleep.

You check out Gus' body. He is extremely charred, as though tossed onto a bonfire, but beyond that he also seems to have a very large amount of stab wounds in his body, as well as blunt force trauma. His body is covered with ash, and is lying on top of ash as well.

You then check Alan's body, mostly to compare his wounds. The decomposition has not been kind to the wound, and it is difficult to match up the edges if at all due to the heat and moisture damage to the tissue. The most you can really discern is that whatever caused the wound must have been very short blade and not something like a katana or other sword.

After Decontamination, you look at at Climate Control, following the blood trail from Alan's body. There is a large amount of blood splatter on the walls and pooling on the floor, which is what comprises the trail.

Thankfully, the Great Purifier appears to be contained. The robed figure is sitting tranquilly inside, scythe across its lap.

Checking Alan's room, you mostly just find an old typewriter. And Barry, who is munching happily on his bedsheets.

Hello, everyone! It seems that Alan Wake is, dead. That is a shame. I wish I could have gotten to know him better, as a fellow member of the, Abyss Team! Thankfully, it seems that Gus Odean is also dead, again. That is not a shame! I think all, Crimson Eye members should return to the pit they crawled out from! Do you think they should return to, the pit they crawled out from?

There is, no point in keeping this secret. Mr. Wake and I had a, plan for last night. It did not play out as, intended. This is because he died.

Here is what was, meant to happen.

Mr. Wake and I were to, meet early in the night. We chose a place we assumed nobody would visit: the back room of the, Arboretum. When we were there, I would help him, hide for the night while he gave me his clothes and, belongings.

With those tucked in my coat, I would retrieve the body of, Walmart John Finalfantasy14. I would take him into the woods, dress him up as, Mr. Wake, and then burn his body. Meanwhile, from the safety of the other room, Mr. Wake would utilize his, typewriter to create the effect that I had traveled with him into the woods.

With both of these elements combined, we would fool the, Mastermind into thinking that I had killed Mr. Wake. They would see me drag Mr. Wake out from the, burning Forest Relay Station, and toss the body into the chasm, where they could not investigate it further to figure out it was not Mr. Wake. I would benefit from the incentive, while also keeping my Abyss team member reasonably, safe.


The truth is, because this plan was to be enacted so early into the night, I did not consider the, possibility that Mr. Wake would be dead when I arrived to the Arboretum. I had no alternative for this situation, so...

Let me explain my night in, full detail.


I began my night by, letting out the doggy! I do this every night! Hello, doggy! You are so cute when you are getting, head scratches! With my coat on, I started heading upstairs through the, Leisure Center. Up at the patio, I encountered Gus Odean. Hello, Mr. Odean! You are, abhorrent! He charged at me, and I, attempted to taser him, which did not work! He slammed into the patio, so hard that the wood cracked! Mr. Odean must have been really strong! Do you think he, went to the Leisure Center every day?

When I woke up again, I saw Mr. Columbo and someone in a cat mask! Hello, you two! The cat mask is, so cute! I wish I had a, cute cat mask to wear! Then I could match with Spooks! Mr. Columbo and the cat mask did not enjoy me listening into their conversation, so I quickly left to meet with, Mr. Wake.

I arrived to the Arboretum, and Mr. Wake was... deceased. He had a cut on his, throat, a head injury, and a burned arm. I'm sorry, Mr. Wake, for not asking your permission! But without another choice, I stripped his body of his, clothes. I tucked those into my coat, and continued on. For his sake, I needed to see our, plan through to the end!

I hurried outside towards the, lake, to go retrieve Mr. Finalfantasy14's body. While I was going, I suddenly felt someone attack me from behind! They wrapped a piece of cloth around my throat! Hello, mysterious assailant! I am, hitting you with the Brutal Blows bond perk! They stumbled back, and I turned around to discover it was, Pea! Hello, Pea! You are, very bad at protecting the Liturgic Seal! I punched them again before hurrying on to the, boathouse.

I found the body of Mr. Finalfantasy14 and tie it with the, rope to drag him along with me. Once I got across the lake near the Black Forest, I ducked into the trees and, dressed him like Mr. Wake. On my way through, I discovered the, lit up walkway to the Forest Relay Station! That was very convenient! When I made it to the, back side of the Station, I heard something rustling in the bushes, but it was moving away from me.

With nobody around, I used Mr. Wake's flare gun to, melt the horse mask to his face. Then, I doused his body and the, inside of the Station with gasoline. I tossed the body inside, and used the flare gun to ignite a, big fire! It was really bright! What do you think of bright fires? Let's survey the damage to the Director's Office.

You enter the Director's Office. The place, much like everywhere else on this fucking map apparently, appears as though it has been ravaged by fire. Most everything in here is destroyed, and the LCD faux-fishtank is covered in error messages like the Occultic Seal. There are strange runes carved all over the walls, innumerable in quantity.

For thoroughness' sake, check out the fairy circle in the woods. Do we have burn marks? How about any blood, any vomit, anything out of place in the vicinity?

You walk out through the Black Forest, following the instructions to get to the fairy circle. There is no blood or vomit, but the grass in the center of the circle appears to be somewhat scorched.

While Phenera checks the fairy circle, you head down to the Underground Lakefront to check out the body. This body is... terribly mangled, with many broken bones. Their clothing is scorched and their skin is badly burned. A HORSE MASK is fused to their face by heat. A reminder of everyone's sins. This body does not appear to have much on it, though a broken flare gun and gas can are lying nearby.
