Anything unusual in the Aquatic Lab?

Lighthouse have stuff taken, like raft and harpoon? What with bloody-blood on XW Rifle?

You check the Aquatic Lab, looking for anything out of the ordinary. The place is still badly burned, but for the most part it's the same as it was before. There's some equipment missing though.

Taking the elevator up, you walk into the Lighthouse and take a look around. It does appear as though a harpoon is missing, with a raft also missing from the supply. Checking the blood on the rifle, you see that it is mostly bloody around the grip and butt of the gun.

You compare the butt of the gun to Hustler's head wound. It seems like a perfect match.

Upon checking the Aquatic Lab, it is hard to tell what equipment is missing. It seems like it's mostly things designed to monitor pressure though, as well as a pump.

Morgan have box outside room? Hom Hom say gun was in box, Riki think.

Or any firearms we know about. Can fire a few test shots and see what matches.

You check the Research Dorm hallway. There's no sign of boxes, or anything really.

You compare the bullets from the lake to the wounds on DXHustler. Due to how shredded the wounds are, it is near impossible to tell whether they came from any firearm.

For the hell of it though, you fire the Void Rifle at Alan Wake's corpse in the Arboretum. With an electronic sound, a black bean blasts outwards from the muzzle, piercing all the way through Alan. What's left is a smoldering circular hole.

Those drag marks around Hustler, if I drag, say, a metal pull-up bar pulled from the Leisure Center through the snow, are the marks I get similar? What about with the shaft of a pickaxe, head removed, from the mines?

You drag a metal pull-up bar from the Leisure Center across the snow. The marks are not even close, nor would they be close to the shaft of a pickaxe. The marks are smooth and broad, as though something sleek and wide was dragged through the snow.

Skid marks match raft?

Shouldn't have been so anti-seal then!

Anyway, let's see the residential district.

You check out the Residential District, walking out from the Lost City Outpost. Taking a look around, it doesn't really look like this place is significantly different than it was on any previous nights. You finish your examination, when you pause, hearing a rumbling down the way. A large creature slowly lurches through the streets, the ever-shifting flesh composing its messily stitched-together body only barely visible in the dim glow of the cavern.

You hide inside a dwelling until it's long out of sight. You get the impression that it's not very safe down here.

Skid marks match raft?

You drag a raft through the snow for a while. The skid marks are practically identical.

Any of Hustler's wounds go all the way through?

None of Hustler's wounds seem to fully pierce the body.

They match any hypothetical giant monster teeth?

You don't think the wounds would match any known monster's teeth, not even some weird one like the Mound of Bodies or the spider. The wounds appear to have been stabbed at various angles, not bitten.

You think back to 1011... You don't think it has teeth at all honestly. More of a jellyfish thing.

You grab a handgun from the Armory and stand in the Lounge while Konata stands at the lake. You fire off a shot, and she can't hear anything at all. It's very far away.

You gather a small crew to explore the surface of Mirror Lake. Outside of the raft still containing Walmart John maybe, you don't find anything noteworthy at all that's been dumped here.

Can Riki check area in front of each elevator for red blood thingy? Or in general, Riki want see if anything weird there. Giff-Giff check inside elevator, but not outside! So Riki double-check.

You check the area in front of each elevator for blood. It doesn't look like any have any blood around them besides the one in the Director's Office, but due to the Aquatic Lab being blackened by fire, you imagine it would be hard to see a trail in here.

You take a look at the blood trail in the Director's hidden room. The trail heads through the office door in an unclear direction, either outwards or inwards from the proper Director's Office. The trail is splattered the whole way along with drops of blood, making the floor in general somewhat bloodied. The trail sort of stops around the elevator area, though there's nothing that indicates a particular flood of gore at any point.

The inside of the elevator seems clean.

Dang it Phenera! You ruined the shower!

I’ll fix it tomorrow night, I guess…

Uhm, well, a lot of things happened, hopefully I can be useful.

I woke up pretty late tonight, I think I was the last person. And I had things to do, like, talking with Mr. Aberration again. I left for Director Sinclair’s elevator, and saw P passing by the facility lobby as I went to his office.



Uh, and there’s a gorilla armed to the teeth standing over Dexter’s body, and I did not want to deal with that, so skedaddled over to the Arcane Lab, so I could find Mr. Aberration to talk to him. Instead, I ran into Lyra and she almost killed me! Thankfully I got away, but that was really scary, and I hid for a bit. She didn’t follow me, and I did get to talk to Mr. Aberration still, so all was well.

After that, I went to explore the whole residential district some more, and I saw Dexter, the gorilla and Mr. Zane all talking in the outpost, and P was being all sussy outside the outpost’s door. There isn’t much down here anymore, but I did find a memo about the flooded district, so I’ll show that off at the end of the day.



And now, it was time for serious business! I had to make sure Momoyo’s kill was properly hidden, so I went up the mine elevator and waited, hiding to make sure no one saw me. I did see Phenera in a cool admiral’s hat going down. Other than that, nothing happened, so it was safe to assume Momoyo didn’t kill, and it was time for me to continue with my other plans.

Tried to go downstairs, but P was going up the elevator this time, so I hid out of instinct, and then went down the elevator after he left.



I was planning to do some more exploration, but looks like this was when Mr. Aberration released the mound of bodies, so I had to run, and I hurried to Astrid’s dad’s elevator to escape. And when I got up, it was a bloody sight. The floor of the office was covered in both glass and blood, and the chandelier had fallen.

But, it wasn’t my business. I had a motive to get done, even though I didn’t want Giffany to die. I waited around near the Break Room for her to pass by, and tried to shove her in.

Tasers hurt tho, and kicks do too. Sorry Giffany. She left for the dorms, so I decided to give up and head north, grab a knife, go upstairs and try to look around for someone to fake-stab. I saw someone who reeked of booze passed out near the sleep lab, and the arboretum was covered in all sorts of safety warnings.

I saw Morgan after a bit, so I chased him around until he went to the dorms, so I went back upstairs to finally take a shower. I saw a chicken mask person checking up on the passed out person, but I left them to head to decontamination.

Turns out, I almost died cuz of that, woopsies.

Well, I still had a dream, so here’s the journal for tonight.

XX/XX/2028

My dream began with me waking up, and getting rained on by hecking glass shards from above. Obviously it hurts, and obviously I don’t want that, so I started running. That leads me to a grand sliding doorway, with it opening with a ‘ding!’ and a gunshot hits me in the shoulder as it opens, and to make matters worse, a stab to my throat as well. Ending it all, a shadow tendril shoots and pierces my face, I fall into an icy cold.
