DAY 3 - The Lantern, the Witch, and the Crimson Eye
Is it possible to carry a coffin on your shoulders or attached to your back? IE if it was tied to your back would it drag on the ground? Alternatively can you carry it like a fireman or would it be too heavy?

It looks like you can't tell it apart, though you do need a hammer and nails to put it back together.

Tough on your spine though.

You do confirm that the bloody rock matches the huge head wound, though.
We-he-hell then, what have we here? Can't say I'm surprised at the body count. Seems like everyone was acting a little silly last night. Lookin' at you, shooter-in-the-shadows that now owes me a new shirt.
My night was much less bloodthirsty. I woke up to a weird note on me telling me to go to the train platform, but that doesn't mean anything to me. The only guide I need is the call of nature. And I was going there anyways so HAH. But that will be for later, I had other plans first. Like going to the cemetery to meet up with Roland for some investigating. Lynne was there, grabbing something from Noise's corpse, then Roland showed up and we got to work looking around for anything odd to dig up. We didn't really find anything, other than Toiletman showing up taking snapshots of random things. With things largely unsuccessful at the graveyard we move to the Train Platform, where that robot girl was chipping at the wall of the telegraph office. Then this is where the fun begins.
One of you absolute maniacs decided to sit in the shadows and take a shot at me with a gun. Thankfully I'm as agile as the majestic squirrel and managed to narrowly avoid my demise, but it did manage to put a hole in MY FAVORITE SHIRT. WHICH I EXPECT TO BE COMPENSATED FOR. The shooter scampered away, but instead of pursuing I had other things to do. We started looking around the Passenger Lounge, I managed to find some timetables and some information on the place, which I can show later. Then onto the Post Office, but this wasn't much of anything. Then I headed up to the Railworker Quarters, where I found more information on this place, but again that's for later. I decided to check out the train itself at that point, seeing Ranger enter the post office as I go. Hollywood Bowlguy was filming the train as well. I met back up with Roland and we looked around the train for any further oddities, but I didn't find much.
Ranger got on the train as we were leaving toward the Yellow Building where I saw Bud just standing there. Ominously. Probably admiring... something admirable. It was at this point that Roland and I parted ways, I headed to the Green Building to the Tailor and laundry room to check some things out that were bugging me, seeing Not Shane along the way. Aligning with my previous expectations, I didn't find much, so I left back downstairs, seeing Lynne in the bank as I descended. We seemed to have the same idea in mind as we both went to the Yellow Building, and as we went I noticed the late Marisa running to the Mining Equipment room.
We finally made it to the Saloon and... it's sealed. Why on God's green and bountiful Earth would YOU SEAL THE ONLY PLACE I CAN KEEP MY SANITY HERE. Taking a look around to see who could be responsible for this, I notice Akira ranting to Honoka about something or other that I didn't really pay attention to, McJango, and Reginald playing cards. Well... nothing else to do. We start playing cards, gradually being joined by Akira and Honoka, then Neil, and eventually Strong Bad. At some point I had decided I'd had enough and went back to my dorm to end the night.

It seems King of Clubs' lawyer has another, uh... an account for you all. A folded up A4 paper with a monkey printed out has been heavily vandalized and placed in the squeaky bathtoy's beak for the benefit of your investigation. This may need some footnotes.
There seems to be a lot of information to review here. McJango makes some notes.
1. Tsavorae
Location:North of the Purple Building (Outside)
- Found in a coffin underground
- Large Bruise to her forehead
-- Bruise is wide and flat. IDed that the bruise is from a sand bag type object. Sand is from outside.
- Death by Suffocation
- Found a single bullet in the pile of dirt the coffin was in
-- Bullet is a from a pistol. Matches what Tsavorae had on her person but not from her gun.
-- Bullet was unfired
- Coffin matches the coffins from the Funeral Home (Orange Building)
-- One coffin was missing from the Funeral Home
-- Most likely not from the secret tunnel as no pre- existing marks in tunnel
-- Could be possible to take the coffin apart and reassemble it. (Would need hammer and nails)
-- Partitio notices someone dragging a coffin away from the purple building while plowing field
-- The coffin seems to be largely clean. It doesn't have any signs of work on it.
- There is a trail that lead directly from the north exit to Tsavorae's burial site
-- Drag marks on the ground match a coffin the closest.
- Shovel was left behind with her in the grave
- Shovel looks to be from Mining Equipment.
- Grave was Lumpy and uneven
Sightings:
- Ranger / Hifumi see her chasing after McJango
- McJango & Not Shane run past her in the Sheriff's Office (Sometime after their duel / chasing McJango to that area )
--Missing when they both returned later
-------------------------
2. Marisa Kirisame
Location: Mining Equipment (Orange)
- Face Smashed
- Death by Head Wound
- Murder Weapon is a bloody rock.
- The Rock came from the Ruined Mine.
Sightings:
- Was seen by Elster by the Saloon (when akira leaves prickly pear dorm earlier in night?)
- Seen by Reginald heading towards the orange building (before 'birthday party')
- Seen exiting the exec office via Hifumi
- Seen spying on Roland, Zalsarona, and Evangeline by the Executive Office She ran off when noticed.
- Seen running to the Mining Equipment room by Ace Ventura / Lynn (before ace came to the 'birthday party')
- Seen dead at the end of the night by King of Clubs
-------------------------
3. Deathborn
Location in Film Equipment! (Blue)
- Burned to Death
- East side of Film Equipment burned, West side unharmed
-The room had a wire that starts north, runs south around a box, then towards the burnt boxes in the room ending at a burnt stump.
Sightings:
- Was chatting with a few people at the 'birthday party' (Roland, Northstar)
- Helped Hifumi with a film project
- Before entering film equipment he chats with Not Shane / Hollywood bowl
- Not Shane / Hollywood bowl see him get set on fire at the end of the night
- Hollywood bowl uses a fire extinguisher to put the fire
Since IKEA coffin currently seems like an open possibility and we know the coffin came from the Orange Building, let's investigate Carpentry, see if anything looks disturbed in the room and look for any signs of work overnight.
Uhh, since the bruise seems to match something with head curvature, does a hard mining helmet from Mining Equipment match the bruise on Tsavorae?

You put the helmet on someone's head and strike. Seems like it doesn't really match - using a helmet just results in a bruise that looks like a harder impact.

Deathborn,
I already told you, the Liturgic Facility is off limits to use in a Killing Game! If even half of what we heard about the Pennsylvania incident is correct, Liturgic esotera is the greatest threat the Crimson Eye is likely to face in the future. I won't have you damage it for some sort of display of power, and I sincerely hope that what our contact said about your work at Silver Junction is somehow mistaken.
If I learn that you're running a Killing Game, I won't hesitate to send everyone I need to out there to reclaim the facility. Even Violent Jimin.
Report back immediately.

It's officially worthwhile to hammer search, best I can tell, so looking around the Army Post, General Store, Sheriff's Office, and Jail Cell, are there any hammers or stray nails?

Right. Three murders. Let's get this over with.
First thing I did last night was head over to the graveyard, where Roland and Ace Ventura were already hanging around. I heard about what the Noise was going to do with the pliers, so I decided to get rid of them before anyone else got any wise ideas. After pocketing them I went back up to green, passing by Honoka on the way, and threw the pliers away before heading into the bank.
I had my nightly talk with Evangeline since she was here, and then I went into the vault to check the lab area out. Cascabela was already down here, though she left shortly afte I got there. I pretty much just spent some time there exploring, though I don't know if I found anything new. There's some esotera gear, a testing range, and the archives. Once I was done snooping around, I went back upstairs - I had a birthday party to go to! I met up with Ventura, who was coming downstairs as I left the bank, and we went to the party together. Though I should note - as we left green, we saw Marisa head to mining equipment.

That's where we found her body, so maybe she was ambushed in there right after she passed us?
![[Image: lynnesurprise.png]](https://i.postimg.cc/rwVScq94/lynnesurprise.png)
Anyway, Ventura and I went over to the party. And...there wasn't one! As we all know, the saloon was completely inaccessible tonight, for whatever reason. Akira was angrily yelling at Honoka about it, and McJango was just wandering around, doing cat things, probably. Ventura and I didn't really have anything better to do, so we just joined Reginald's card game after he waved us on. Akira and Honoka joined us after they were done yelling, and later we were joined by Neil, then Strong Bad. We pretty much just spent the rest of the night playing until we were too tired to continue, and I went to bed.

By the way...who the heck left the "toot n poop" note in the dorms? I'm not interested, thanks.
