Yeah, yeah, I know, I was alone with his corpse near the end of the night, I know how this goes. I was largely accounted for before that, so let me try to prove my innocence...



First things first, I wanted to try to grab something to blow up the mystery room downstairs, but it seems like I wasn't the only one! Nonetheless, immediately after waking up, I went down to orange via mineral storage. I looked at explosives storage for a bit, seeing Kroos go to mining equipment at some point, but didn't really do anything, so I decided to source my explosives elsewhere. I instead looped around to blacksmith, passing by Ace Ventura in carpentry on the way, and I started working on a fun exercise wheel for McJango! Ranger was also working in here, and Roland and Evangeline entered at some point. Once I was done with this part, I went to carpentry to finish it off - noting Ventura was still here - and then I took the wheel out through the dorms and made my way to blue.

I entered via the lobby and pushed it up to soundstage, where North Star was already present. then I installed the wheel and waited for McJango to show up, and when he did, off to the wheel he went! Roland showed up not too long in a tracksuit to encourage him, and then later on North Star left downstairs. I couldn't stay much longer after that, so I went back downstairs and exited through the lobby to look for Evangeline. I saw her down south and met up with her near the train tracks, and we talked for a while, while trying to escape the heat as soon as possible. We took the west path and passed by the drill tank along the way, with Zalsarona behind the wheel. Her and Evangeline exchanged a couple things, and then her and I continued our way to purple, passing by Partitio on the way; he was looking around the livestock corral.

We thankfully managed to get to the general store before the heat got to us. Cascabela, Bud, and Roland were hanging around here, and notably, the trapdoor had been cut open. After taking a second to get over the heat, the five of us all descended together, with Partitio entering and dropping down right after us. He, Cascabela, and Bud went to the east, Roland went over to the keypad, and Evangeline and I looped around to check out the rest of the purple basement. The drill tank from construction garage was missing, but uh, I kind of already knew that. I also got to see "PETE" spelled out in flaming letters in the silver processing. I'm sure that's not worrisome at all. After I grabbed a few grenades in Crimson Eye storage, we went back around, stopping for a second to look at something else in construction garage, and caught back up with Roland as we all headed over to the blue basement. This is where I was going to blow up the wall to that weird room Evangeline told me about!



...Except someone beat me to it. Dreamcrusher. It's of course the shrine to Atua, and Bud, Cascabela, and Partitio were already here, while Kroos was in sacristy. As Roland and Evangeline went further right, I just explored for a bit. Nothing you haven't seen already from the shrine, but I can confirm the sacristy knife was missing by this point. Then I checked out the crypt, where I mostly just found some skeletons, then I read through some of the church records - this is where I heard the train whistle - and then I hung out in rectory for a bit, during which Cascabela and Bud went back towards the storeroom. I followed them shortly afterwards and made my way back upstairs.

I didn't attempt last night, so I decided to prepare for jail real quick. I went through the sheriffs office, where I noticed the desk was pretty messed up, and then upstairs to officer's club to prepare for tonight. Though while I was there, I noticed that something looked odd in the hallway, so I poked my head in, and...



...Not Shane was dead, looking just as he is now, with multiple stab wounds and his throat cut. So much for our card game...

Shaken up after that, I went back downstairs and went out through the east. I used the back staircase to check on soundstage real quick, but everything seemed to have wrapped up, and Akira on one of the computers was the only one present. I exited out through the main entrance and went through the lobby over to my dorms to sleep.

Search the rooms on the second floor of the Purple Building other than the Hallway. Anything seem out of place or odd? Any signs of someone doing anything up there last night?

Does the whistle on the locomotive work without the locomotive needing to be fired? And if it does, is the sound it makes the same as the whistle sound we heard last night?

Hah... Like I said when I first showed up around here, I can't say I live up to the image of a detective much. There's entire Associations back in the City dedicated to that kinda work - and I'm pretty far from being on their level.

I'm just doing what I can. Nothing more, nothing less.



But a guy like you? Loyal, dependable... And tough as nails, if our competition last night was anything to go by... You're a different breed than anyone from back home, that's for sure.

Nico wanted workout with the cute lil cat (who Nico thinks would be a good accessory in Nico's idol career~♪♪) and wanted to explore more of the underground area since she hasn't been to any of that yet, so Nico decided to go there after. First, Nico went to Blue building and noticed a ditch on the south street full of water. Then, Nico saw Hifumi lying unconscious between Yellow and Red building

Nico went to the Lobby to excercise and saw McJango, Hollywood Bowl, Zalsarona, and Akira. Nico also saw Ranger leaving

Then once Nico worked up a sweat, Nico went to General Store to investigate the underground~✰ Nico saw someone cut open the Storeroom trapdoor


Nico went to Construction Garage and saw Cascabela, and saw the shutter is open and someone took the Drill Tank out of the garage. Not sure what to make out of that, but Nico thought that was of note~✰

Then Nico saw something strange at Liturgic Silver Processing -- burning letters that said PETE on the ground. Nico doesn't know the English language too well, so she doesn't understand this meant.

Nico then went to Crimson Eye Storage to explore anything useful and went back up the Storeroom after exploring.

It looks like someone cleanly cut through the hinges of the trapdoor, resulting in the door falling in.

You try this out. It would cut through them, but it would leave molten residue which would cool into weird shapes, and this is not present on the hinges.

...Anyway. That aside, I should give my testimony, huh? Woke up and decided to go drinking first thing. Needed to just relax for once in my fucking life. Had the place to myself at first, but early in the night, Akira Kogami entered and took up a spot behind the bar. Smoking and drinking. Can't blame her, I used to need nicotine to make it through a film shoot. We hung out for a while, during which Partitio walked through to the Farrier. After that, though, I had somewhere to be, so I left her behind and went on out.

That somewhere? McJango's exercise workout. I was the only one there when I got there, but I went ahead and did some filming. Then I went downstairs to spend a bit of time in the Lobby, passed by Akira as she entered the Breakroom. Wanted to just take it in, feel like I was in a normal movie setup for once.

And it worked. North Star passed by me, pretty chill time. Then Pete shows up. Kicks me in the goddamn leg, goes upstairs, it's all a clusterfuck. I went upstairs and watched more of the show, handed off some footage to Akira, and then went down to the Saloon to get another drink after Pete ruined that whole shitshow. Saw Ranger going to the Store on the way there, and went in to see Honoka. Unconscious on the floor, mind you.
