DAY 7 - The Divine Case of the Dually Deceased
Open the cage and step well away from it to let Jessica do her stuff and/or get ganked.

Hey... I know we're pretty sure about how Honoka died, but I've got a couple things I wanna check. Mostly related to how the bulldozer got to where it was. If the crash is what killed her... Can't hurt to know how it happened, right?
Any scrape marks/dents in the elevator up to the surface? Mostly looking at the far wall of the lift... Y'know, in case it was just running into the thing for a while.
Might as well try something myself too though. Let's get in the Excavator and gun it into the elevator. Evangeline, I'd like it if you could operate the lift for me - but I'll take whatever help I can get.
I won't touch the steering, I'll just let it ride. Where do I end up by the time I'd crash? Of course, I'll hit the breaks before I actually make an impact... I'm a lot of things, but I like to think I'm not a moron.
You line up the excavator with the lift, and Evangeline operates it from ground level. Your experiment shows you that if you approached the lift from a straight-on angle, you'd crash right where the bulldozer is now.

You open the lasagna and hold it down, allowing people to investigate it. Outside of the bits it just got from your head just minutes ago, you don't see any trace it was carrying something, nor do you see blood or water.
I would like to investigate the water tower to see if there's any hidden way in and out of it on the top side.
Can Hollywood Bowl fill us in on the details of how the lasagna was created, and if he thinks Garfield has any control or influence over the lasagna?
Using Jessica's head again, try tossing it under the locomotive while running. How easy is it to just yeet while running by and does it end up roughly where we found it? How noticeable would this be to other people nearby, if I can tell?
Can we see the footage that Bowl and Pohatu was shooting?
Can you climb back out of the orange basement? Are there signs that that was, um... done?
I-I guess I'll check all the rooms down there and the tunnel to green... if that's alright.
I thought of something else... uh, check Station Storage to see if there are any fishplates that got returned or messed with. Actually... just check Station Storage in general, too.

I'd like to check the button down in the garage that controls the elevator, as well as the shutter door.
Give the whole garage a look-over while I'm here, even though someone probably already did.

It looks like there was an entrance in and out, but only the one exit to climb in, load water, expect it, and so on.

Well, he put together a normal pan, and then instead of baking it like you would, he began treating it with Liturgic equipment. I don't have the first idea how half of those things work, but it managed to pull together, and bake the thing while also bringing it to life. Control and influence... maybe a little? I get the feeling it's mostly running on instinct. He could probably train it.

If you do a good one-hand toss you can keep it from being spotted.

(11 hours ago)Jessica Wrote: Can you climb back out of the orange basement? Are there signs that that was, um... done? You can climb up the ropes in the Mineshaft from the Orange Basement, yes. This doesn't leave any particular signs of transversal that come up on checks, it's just a normal in-out. You do notice one of the ropes has been cut.

What are you checking these rooms for?
You check Station Storage. One of the fishplates appears to have been moved from its original location. Other than that, nothing stands out.
(7 hours ago)Madame Zalsarona Wrote: I'd like to check the button down in the garage that controls the elevator, as well as the shutter door. You check out the button. It's a normal elevator button - hit it and the lift will automatically raise or lower to the other floor. The shutter door has been opened, and remains open regardless of the condition of the lift, though sensors will keep the lift from lowering if someone stands under it while in operation.
Give the whole garage a look-over while I'm here, even though someone probably already did.
You look around the Garage. Besides the missing gas can and missing toolbox, you don't see anything weird.
How long does the elevator take to rise from the garage to the surface? Is it possible to press the button and climb up the trapdoor and run outside before it reaches the top?
(7 hours ago)Madame Zalsarona Wrote: How long does the elevator take to rise from the garage to the surface? Is it possible to press the button and climb up the trapdoor and run outside before it reaches the top?It looks like if you did this and ran, you would make it up just outside the General Store at the point the lift reached the top. It's a slow elevator due to its sheer size.
Since she's double dead, I don't need consent for this I think. I'll cut Jessica's stomach open to see if there's anything eaten last night

Guess it's time to take this investigation to a metaphysical level, huh? Not that I'm complaining, but...
Search the Labs for any device that can check Liturgic Esotera levels. Then, point it at Jessica's body, Honoka's body, and Jessica's head. What's it say for each? Take a look at 'em myself too, but obviously that's not gonna pop up in public.
What happens here is gonna determine where we go from here.

I'm running behind, so let's just get to it!
I started my night in jail like most people, and I went ahead and talked with Evangeline while I was here. During our chat, Akira cut off part of Nico's foot, for...some reason? And then when we wrap up, Lasagna Cat came in and Zalsarona bartered with him for the key. My plan was to blow up the wall and probably hurt people in the process so that works out better, I'd say! Anyway, me and Mayor Bud went to the army post, and I went up and checked on my guns I hid last next. They were already gone, though, replaced with a "woahg" note. I hate the Noise. Bud went west and I just went back and to general store, passing by North Star as I went downstairs. Tsavorae and The Noise were both hanging around. I went around to the main part of purple to look at the elevator again, also seeing Elster go into liturgic silver processing, but I didn't find any secret double basement or anything so I just took it back upstairs.
I didn't have any other business there, so I just walked south, taking note of a few things. Lasagna Cat and Hollywood Bowl were hanging out near blue, Ranger was shooting Deathborn in the leg near green, and the black horse was flying overhead. I went down and found the chair I made back on night 2, and I wanted to throw the chair into the twister just because I thought it would be funny. So I threw it across the canal towards the twister, aaaaaaaand I accidentally nailed King of Clubs in the head, not only making him lose his gun, but knocking him into the twister instead, all while Hifumi watched. Uh...oops?
Nothing I could really do to fix that, so I went over to orange, seeing Ace Ventura in carpentry working away, while Zalsarona was preparing her cart. I went through the dorm over to the ruined mine to climb down into that part of the basement, seeing Partitio and Neil also hanging around. I stuck around here for a few minutes, and then went over to green and headed up to the vault. I took the long way around out of green to get something from my room, passing by Atua and Mayor Bud talking in the chapel. As I made my way back to purple, I finally got a chance to catch up with Pohatu while he wasn't being dead. He'll do something right eventually. Marisa left the purple dorms during my conversation and walked east past us, and when I was done I went to purple myself.
Entering the dorms, I made my way upstairs, passing Mayor Bud leaving his office. I noticed the window was open, which was perfect because...
![[Image: lynneserious.png]](https://i.postimg.cc/hPb9HXVg/lynneserious.png)
...I was going to attempt last night. Sorry, but the extra forbidden action is too much for me. However, my attempt is not relevant, because the person I saw when I looked out the window...was Zalsarona. And I'm NOT going to be the one that takes her out, even if she was on the roof, so I ended up just waiting for a while, hoping she would leave and someone I could attack showed up. This never happened, though as I was looking around, I saw a ladder attached to the wall near the window, and the drill tank sitting north of the building. Around the time I gave up on my murderous urges, Cascabela came outside through the...jail cell, and started loading her bird feeder up. Zalsa was still watching so I couldn't kill her, I just went downstairs and headed over to yellow.
I finished my night in the saloon, immediately watching Marisa dance for a while. After she was done, I took a better look at my surroundings. Hollywood Bowl and Pohatu had joined me at my table; Roland and Evangeline were at another table; Ace Ventura was alone at yet another one; Akira, Cascabela, Neil, and Partitio were all heading upstairs together; and McJango was leaving the saloon entirely. Lasagna Cat came in and joined my table, and us four just drank and talked for a few minutes. Weird little group I had there. Ventura left after this, followed by the party of four coming back downstairs and heading out. Then Roland and Evangeline left, and then I called it a night and went back to my dorm.

You point it at Jessica's body, both parts. There is a moderate liturgic signature.
You point it at Nortb Star. He has a moderate liturgic signature.
