Check the glove some more.

* Look it over for any marks outside, like from being tied up with wire or something.
* Compare its weight to the blowtorch.
* Cut it open and check the inside for any weird imprints, residue, or other leavings.
* Smell the glove.
* Be the glove.
* Throw it against the wall.

How densely packed is the sound stage? Is there enough clutter for someone to feasibly sneak around even while another person is in the room?

The gloves could be Pohatu's and they comically flew off his hands while being blown up

With nothing better to do, might as well try to follow up on this.

Check the victim's fingernails. Do they have residue from the inside of a work glove trapped under them?
They don't.

You run these tests. Ultimately, the best result you get is from just tugging the wire on its own along the wood beam. That creates a shallow cut very similar to what you found in the Ruined Mine.

You look over the gloves.

-There's not any marks on the outside, but they're very sturdy. You don't think there'd be marks anyway.
-The gloves are lighter than the blowtorch.
-Cutting it open shows that there's not really anything significant inside. No imprints or residue - you put it on and take it off and it looks clean.
-It has that well-worked glove smell. You know, the kind when they've been used for hard work for years?
-You are now the glove.
-You have been thrown against the wall by Madame Zalsarona. Ouch!

You investigate the soundstage. Nothing is out of place.

You could be seen from the Executive Office and the Soundstage, but not other rooms in the building.

It's definitely not cluttered enough for that. It's a wide open room for setting up indoor filming and greenscreen filming.

Check the piano itself. Apart from being destroyed, anything odd?

Anything else weird lying about / out of place in the saloon?

Also, check the desert perimeter for anything someone might have just thrown out, and the train tracks

You check the piano's remains. Besides a missing segment of wire, and a missing segment of the player piano sheet music that was inside, it's the wreckage you would expect.

Beyond that, the Saloon doesn't have anything out of place beyond the leftovers of the party. Empty bottles and the like.

You scan the outside of the map. Nothing lies discarded.

I started out my night by headin' out towards the Gun Shop. There was somewhere I was itchin' to get into, and I figured a lucky bullet mighta done the job. While I was passin' through the Saloon, I ran into Mr. Zeppeli, who challenged me to a horse-ridin' race. Truth be told, I'm not too experienced on horseback. Ya' can imagine we don't have a lotta those critters in the Prosecutor's Office. Besides, after tonight, I'm not certain there's any steeds unclaimed in that stable. Still...

Marshall
Sure, why not, Mr. Zeppeli? I'll take up ya' offer. Ya' best prepare yerself, now! I won't go down without a good fight, no sir.

While I was chattin' with him, Mr. Ventura came up and started setting up behind the bar.

Marshall
I continued on my way, steppin' into the Gun Store and grabbin' myself a hefty shotgun. While I was grabbin' some ammo, Miz Zalsarona came in behind me. She's a mighty fine woman, I'll tell ya' what. Gettin' this crew together like that for some stew was a nice call. Once I had my gun ready, I hurried on over to the blue building lobby, and took aim at the archives door.

Marshall
Things were suspect 'round here even before the dead body turned on, so I thought investigatin' those archives would produce some good information. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the lock off, and got a quick reprimandin' from Mr. Hollywood Bowl over it. Ya' have my humblest apologies, sir. He and I got to talkin' in the Lobby, though. Some good-natured chatter.

While we were standin' there, we saw a number of people come up and down those lobby stairs. Mr. Bowl's list was the same as my own, but to reiterate:
-Nico entered and went upstairs
-Pohatu entered and went upstairs
-North Star came downstairs and greeted us before leavin'
-Nico came downstairs and left
-Cascabela came downstairs and gave me a photo of herself before leavin'

Marshall
'Course, I had other matters of investigatin' to return to, so after a while, I gave Mr. Bowl a goodbye and moseyed on over to the Newspaper printin' room. Really found nothin' of interest in there. Saw Gyro passin' by, though. At last, I went on over to the hoedown in the Saloon, where things were bustlin' big. It ain't seem helpful to list out every little thing I saw, given how many others were witnesses to it.

That cat chasin' Miz Cascabela 'round made for some excellent entertainment, at least!

After all was said and done, and Not Shane showed up for a round of cards, I decided I should wrap up my evenin' and went back to bed.

From the information I've collected so far, I have three key points I would like to bring attention to.

Jessica grabbed wire from the Film Equipment. This happened while she was hanging out in the Break Room.

McJango set up a CCTV in the Blacksmith. The camera caught several people, but due to its angle, it failed to record the culprit.

Jessica then set up the trap using a blowtorch she took from the Blacksmith.

Oh... hi, Kroos. I think I've seen you around... at Rhodes Island, I mean. For everyone else, I thought the party last night was fun... I-I probably didn't do too well at the card game, huh?

Uh, I assume everyone is staring at me for a reason... but I didn't do it. L-Like I said, the culprit could have easily gone through the soundstage from the back staircase to get the wire. And I didn't have time to set it up... I think... sheriff's word. Well, I'm not officially a sheriff, and I didn't bring my badge, but...

The blowtorches are on a materials bench near the top of the room, where you gather whatever you need to work on a project.

Relative to the camera, you think it would capture the majority of the bench. It looks like there would be a blind spot near the end of the bench.

Unfortunately no. While Deathborn pre-inventoried the blowtorches, they're scattered around and you only know one is missing because he counted.

Everyone say "thanks, Deathborn".
